OnePlus’ first tablet is finally on sale
OnePlus, a few months after the announcement, announced the start of sales of its first ever tablet. The OnePlus Pad was briefly announced back in February 2023, and pre-orders opened in April. Then OnePlus promised that open sales will begin in India and Europe from April 28. However, this did not happen.
Now OnePlus has finally started selling its tablet in the UK and Europe. The OnePlus Pad is only offered in one version, Halo Green, with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. It costs €499 in the Eurozone and £449 in the UK.
The European version does not come with a charger in the box, however the company has apparently abandoned that decision as it has now announced that anyone who buys the OnePlus Pad will get the OnePlus SuperVOOC 65W charger for free. Also until June 18, there are a variety of discounts on accessories when buying a tablet, including a stylus, keyboard and cases, and even headphones.
Key features of the OnePlus Pad include an 11.61-inch (2800 x 2000 pixels) 144Hz LCD panel, 8MP and 13MP cameras, MediaTek Dimensity 9000 SoC, 12GB RAM, and a 9510mAh battery with support for fast charging 67 watts. All this is packaged in an aluminum alloy case.
Teclast introduced the T40S tablet, which stands out for having a 2K screen for under $200.
The novelty received a 10.4-inch IPS panel with a resolution of 2000 x 1200 pixels, but without an increased frame rate.
In addition, the tablet has 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of flash memory, but the heart is the old MediaTek MT8183 SoC, which scores only about 160,000 points in AnTuTu 9.
In addition, we can note the metal case, a battery with a capacity of only 6000 mAh, a 13-megapixel camera and a mass of 475 g. For all this, the manufacturer asks only $ 170.

Interestingly, Apple Music Classical is still not available on Mac, and there is no optimized version for iPad. In addition, the service cannot be used through CarPlay.
