Meizu introduced the Meizu 20 Infinity Unbounded Edition smartphone along with the Meizu 20 and Meizu 20 Pro models a few days ago. During a press conference, the company showed photos that showed the almost complete absence of a screen frame. But on live photos there is a frame, and a decent one.

Now this is not called a frame, but “narrowness” – it is the same on four sides and is 2.48 mm. Interestingly, the Meizu 20 Infinity Unbounded Edition is being touted as the fruit of a collaboration between Meizu itself and display manufacturer BOE – the companies have been hard at work on this “frameless” model.

However, the screen here is really interesting. The BOE Q9 OLED panel is characterized by a diagonal of 6.79 inches, a resolution of 3192 x 1368 pixels, a peak brightness of 1850 cd/m2, and a frame rate of 120 Hz. The PWM control frequency is 1920 Hz.

Meizu 20 Infinity Unbounded Edition, like other models of the line, is built on SoC Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, endowed with LPDDR5X memory and UFS 4.0. The front camera has a 32MP sensor, while the main camera has 50MP (Sony IMX766), 12MP (SonyIMX563, ultra-wide angle) and 12MP (Sony IMX663, telephoto) sensors. The lenses are protected by sapphire glass.

The battery capacity of the smartphone was 4800 mAh, it supports 65 W wired charging and 50 W wireless power. Meizu 20 Infinity Unbounded Edition is 8.2 mm thick and weighs 215 grams. The device also received a metal side frame, a sub-screen ultrasonic fingerprint scanner, stereo speakers, an NFC chip, and an IR emitter. In China, for Meizu 20 Infinity Unbounded Edition they ask from 920 (12/256 GB) to 1240 (16 GB / 1 TB) dollars – this is the most expensive model in the line.

Relame will continue to produce affordable smartphones with a curved screen. In the TENAA database, the Realme 11 Pro + model was lit up, which is just equipped with such a display.

The device with catalog number RMX3770 will receive a completely new camera module design for Relame. Perhaps the future flagships of the company will look about the same.

There are no technical parameters yet, but earlier the device was credited with the MediaTek platform with 5G support. For example, the same Realme 10 Pro +, which was the first in this class to receive a curved screen, relies on the Dimensity 1080. You can also recall that this model started with a price of only $ 240.

The fan-made smartphone Samsung Galaxy S23 FE will still be released, according to the well-known resource SamMobile.

The novelty should be expected in the fourth quarter of this year, but there is one feature that many may not like the S23 FE. The fact is that this model will not be based on Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 at all, and not even on Snapdragon 8 Gen 1. It will receive Exynos 2200. And in all markets.

Yes, relative to the Galaxy S21 FE, the new model will become more productive. However, it cannot even be compared with the current flagships of Samsung. In addition, Exynos 2200 has not the best reputation among users. At the same time, we recall that the Galaxy S21 FE was present in most markets only with the Qualcomm platform.

But the new model will get a new camera. The main sensor will be 50 megapixels, probably like the Galaxy S22/S23. Also reported is 128 or 256 GB of flash memory, 6 or 8 GB of RAM and a 4500 mAh battery with 25-watt charging.
