Official: Xiaomi Pad 6 Pro is built on SoC Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1. Xiaomi presents it as a gaming tablet
Xiaomi today revealed the single-chip systems of the new Xiaomi Pad 6 and Xiaomi Pad 6 Pro tablets. The younger model uses Snapdragon 870, and the older one uses Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1. Thus, the rumors that attributed the same SoCs to the new products were confirmed.
Xiaomi also posted a teaser that shows the older model running the game. The description says that even after half an hour of playing (that is, having thoroughly warmed up), the device provides a frame rate of 58.7 FPS. This is a hint at a high-quality cooling system and minimal manifestations of throttling (or its absence at all).
The premiere of Xiaomi Pad 6 and Pad 6 Pro is scheduled for April 18, the top camera phone Xiaomi 13 Ultra will also be presented on the same day. Tablets are credited with screens with a resolution of 2.8K and a frame rate of 120 Hz (in Pad 6) and 144 Hz (in Pad 6 Pro), 12 GB of RAM and 512 GB of flash memory in the top version, 10,000 mAh batteries with support for 67W fast charging, dual cameras.

Apple Music Classical app is now available for Android, but not yet available for iPad and Mac

The Apple Music Classical app for listening to classical music is finally available for Android.
Recall that the Apple Music Classical app debuted in March. It’s a standalone app that doesn’t depend on regular Apple Music, and it didn’t exist on Android until today. You need an Apple Music subscription to use the service.
Interestingly, Apple Music Classical is still not available on Mac, and there is no optimized version for iPad. In addition, the service cannot be used through CarPlay.
Recall that Apple Music Classical provides access to more than five million songs and hundreds of playlists. At the same time, unlike the usual Apple Music application, it is possible to search by composer, work, conductor, catalog number, and so on.

It will not be an iPhone 16 Pro Max, but almost a tablet. A well-known insider confirmed the increase in screen sizes in the new iPhone

Well-known Bloomberg journalist and insider Mark Gurman confirmed the recently appeared information that in the iPhone 16 line, each model will have its own screen size.
More specifically, the iPhone 16 Pro should get a 6.3-inch display instead of the usual 6.1 inches, and the iPhone 16 Pro Max display will grow from 6.7 to 6.9 inches. On the one hand, this will make the older model stand out on the market with its impressive dimensions, on the other hand, the iPhone 16 Pro will become more attractive for those for whom 6.1 inches was not enough, and 6.7 inches in Pro Max was already a lot.
Considering that the well-known insider Ming-Chi Kuo also spoke about the increase in older iPhones, there are no particular doubts about such changes in the iPhone. On the other hand, there is still more than a year before the release of this line, which cannot be discounted.
