Now it is possible to mine “environmentally friendly” Bitcoin. Terra Pool runs on clean energy

It is no secret that a colossal amount of energy is spent on the process of mining cryptocurrencies in total in the world. It has long been comparable to the costs of some European countries.
Against this backdrop, DMG Blockchain Solutions and Argo Blockchain are offering to join their Terra Pool, which they call the world’s first clean energy mining pool.
According to the press release, the pool will initially consist of a hashrate from DMG and Argo, which is currently using the energy generated by hydropower resources.
There are no other details, but we can say that this is the industry’s first step towards modern trends. True, less energy from this will not be spent on mining.
