Photo spies filmed a camouflaged SUV on the roads of China. According to the source, these photos show a promising electric car of the new Interstellar brand, behind which stands the industry leader, BYD. It will be a very expensive car with outstanding off-road potential.

There are not as many details about the project as we would like, but it is reported that the car will receive motor-wheels and a fully controlled chassis (4WS) – both the front and rear wheels will turn. The cross-country ability will be no worse than that of some Cybertruck, high power and very good dynamics are also promised. It is expected that the car will receive the Huawei platform, on the basis of which the functions of the autonomous driving system will work (two lidars are attributed at once).

The premiere of the new Interstellar brand may take place as early as August, and the first car (the one in the photo, but already in commercial form) in the fourth quarter of this year. Sales of new items should start in the first half of 2023. The price of an SUV is also called – from 120 to almost 240 thousand dollars.

At a presentation in China, Xiaomi today, August 11, showed the first branded humanoid robot CyberOne. This humanoid robot can walk independently on two legs and communicate with people. Its maximum CyberOne speed is about 3.6 km/h.

The robot is not planned to be brought to the market – the company will use it as a research platform.

The robot is 177 cm tall and weighs 52 kg. The body is made in black and white. During a conversation with a human, the robot can recognize 45 human emotions. He also knows how to give flowers, which was shown at the presentation. After that, the robot, along with the CEO of the company, took a selfie on the latest Xiaomi Mix Fold 2 foldable smartphone.

Xiaomi today introduced a lot of new things, and one of the most notable was the Redmi K50 Extreme Edition. This is the brand’s new flagship, and it’s also quite affordable: in the base configuration with 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of flash memory, it can be purchased in China for $445.

Redmi K50 Extreme Edition is built on the top-end Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 single-chip system, supplemented by a large cooling system – with an area of ​​30,000 mm².

If the appearance of the smartphone seems familiar to you, then this is not surprising – Redmi K50 Extreme Edition is practically a copy of Xiaomi 12.

The smartphone received a flat OLED screen with a diagonal of 6.67 inches, a frame rate of 120 Hz, 120-bit color representation and an increased resolution of 1.5K (2712 x 1220 pixels). The pixel density is at the level of the iPhone 13 Pro Max. And the novelty is the first Redmi flagship in a long time with an under-screen fingerprint scanner.

Redmi K50 Extreme Edition received a 5000 mAh battery with support for 120 W fast wired charging. It is mediated by the Surging P1 proprietary chip.

The main camera system is represented by three modules. Basically – a 108-megapixel Samsung S5KHM6 sensor with a wide-angle lens and an optical stabilization system. There is also an 8-megapixel sensor module with an ultra-wide-angle lens and a module with a 2-megapixel sensor for macro photography.

Redmi K50 Extreme Edition received stereo speakers, an NFC chip, dust and water protection in accordance with the IP53 degree, a standard headphone jack and a MIUI 13 shell. The smartphone is 8.6 mm thick and weighs 202 grams.

In addition to the base model, three more versions of the model will go on sale: 8/256 GB for $490, 12/256 GB for $535 and 12/512 GB for $595.

The Redmi K50 Extreme Edition has a special edition created in collaboration with the Mercedes-AMG F1 Formula 1 team. The variant is called the Mercedes-AMG F1 Team Championship Edition, and it differs from the regular version only in the external design in the style of a racing car and the team’s corporate colors. The price of this version is $ 625, the memory sizes are 12 and 512 GB.
