The Chinese company Xiaomi presented today at a big presentation the new fully wireless headphones Xiaomi Buds 4 Pro.
The model is offered in gold and black versions for $163. Pre-orders have already begun – at a price reduced to $ 148.
For this money, the user gets stylish headphones with 11 mm speakers, active noise reduction system (up to 48 dB), battery life up to 9 hours, up to 38 hours with recharging from the case. The headphones can be fully charged in just half an hour, a 5-minute charge will provide an additional 3 hours of listening. SBC, AAC and LHDC 4.0 audio codecs are supported, as well as Spatial Audio surround sound.
AirPods Pro 2 not needed? The original AirPods Pro also got an adaptive transparency mode
Apple has released a beta version of iOS 16.1, which makes available on the original AirPods Pro headphones the adaptive transparency mode introduced in the second generation AirPods Pro.
As you can see in the screenshot, original AirPods Pro users who updated to the AirPods 5A304A beta firmware can now see the Adaptive Transparency Mode option in AirPods Pro settings.
AirPods Pro 2 features a new H2 chip, longer battery life, a new charging case, and a new earbud size to better fit the wearer’s ear. Users can charge AirPods Pro using the Apple Watch charger, MagSafe chargers and Qi-certified chargers are also compatible.
The adaptive transparency mode can significantly reduce the intensity of loud sounds such as whistling or power tools, while still allowing users to hear ambient sound well. It is not known how well this feature will be carried over to the original AirPods Pro, as the original AirPods Pro only had the H1 chip, and Apple has stated that adaptive transparency is provided by the H2 chip. Many AirPods Pro 2 users admire Apple, calling it “obsessed with details.”
Apple iOS 16.1 also includes battery percentage for more iPhone models such as the iPhone 11 and iPhone 13 mini. Apple has changed the battery indicator to a dynamic icon.
Another new Apple product is again completely unsuitable for repair. AirPods Pro 2 got zero points from iFixit
Apple AirPods have never been known for even tolerable repairability, and the new AirPods Pro 2 are no exception, earning zero points from iFixit.
Like past models of AirPods, the new headphones cannot be properly disassembled. To get to all the insides, they simply have to be broken. Of course, this has nothing to do with renovation.
At one time, the first AirPods Pro also got zero points from iFixit, so in this regard, the new model did not become better than the old one.
Apple is obsessed with details. AirPods Pro 2 owners admire the company
Apple’s flagship wireless noise-canceling headphones AirPods Pro 2 went on sale on Friday, with early adopters getting excited.
It is reported that there are not so many changes compared to the original AirPods Pro, however, users have found that in the customized version of AirPods Pro 2 purchased from the official website, the pop-up animation of the headphones contains an engraved pattern on the charging case body.
Many AirPods Pro 2 users admire Apple, calling it “obsessed with details.”
Lumafield has shared CT scans of the charging case for the second-generation AirPods Pro fully wireless earphones, showing internal changes to the case.
Improvements to the charging case include water resistance, support for the Apple Watch magnetic charging puck, and longer battery life.
