Yesterday, Apple held a conference where the iPhone 14 series of mobile phones was introduced. While the iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus retained the large bangs, while the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max use a design with a large oval hole called Dynamic Island.

In response, ZTE released a new video poking fun at the innovation of the iPhone 14 Pro ZTE said the Axon40 Ultra full-screen mobile phone has “no islands, cutouts, holes or notches.” It offers a huge screen with a tiny bezel without any foreign elements on it.

Recall, ZTE released a full-screen mobile phone Axon40 Ultra in May this year. It received a 6.8-inch hyperbolic OLED screen with a resolution of 2480 x 1116 pixels and a Snapdragon 8 Gen1 single-chip system. The camera has three 64MP image sensors. The smartphone has a 5000mAh battery and supports 80W fast charging.

Luo Yonghao, founder of Smartisan and Hammer Technology, previously stated that the Dynamic Island cutout is really great and blends well with the interface, but added that Android smartphones don’t need this trick.

The exact cost of Redmi A1 + is not called, but the source logically explains that the inclusion of a fingerprint scanner in the design will have a minimal impact on the price. If Redmi A1 is priced at 100 euros, then Redmi A1 + will be slightly more expensive than 100 euros (or $ 100).

Don’t need Dynamic Island? Popular apps are in no hurry to adapt to the iPhone 14 Pro

Dont need Dynamic Island Popular apps are in no hurry

The iPhone 14 Pro, which received the Dynamic Island interactive area in the front camera area, was introduced more than two weeks ago and released at the end of last week, but so far third-party developers are in no hurry to use Dynamic Island.

It was expected that Dynamic Island would initially only work with Apple applications, and developers would start releasing updates to their applications to adapt them to Dynamic Island.

Even before the launch, there was a lot of discussion about the fact that hugely popular apps in China, including WeChat and Tencent Video, are not optimized for use with Dynamic Island. WeChat notification pop-ups do not appear in the Dynamic Island interactive area, but simply under this notch, which does not respond to the application in any way.

WeChat update 8.0.29 for iOS was released yesterday, which fixed some compatibility issues on iPhone 14 series smartphones. However, there was no adaptation to Dynamic Island. Messages continue to appear under the notch. Other apps in China have also been updated but not supported.

Mydrivers writes that Apple has not yet opened the Dynamic Island Application Programming Interface (API) to third-party developers. For the first time this became known a few days ago.

It is worth adding that after the release of almost every new generation of iPhone, we are seeing a similar situation. At first, many shout “everything is gone”, “no innovations”, “a lot of bugs”, but in the end the problems are quickly resolved, and there are more than 100 million owners of new Apple smartphones in the world.
