The preliminary information on the technical characteristics of Nikon Z6s and Z7s mirrorless cameras has appeared online. These cameras are said to use the same image sensor as the original Nikon Z 6 and Z 7 (Nikon Z 7 is shown).
The cameras will receive two EXPEED processors and a new Nikon EN-EL15c battery. They will support USB power. Improvements will affect the electronic viewfinder: its resolution will be increased from 3.69 million dots in the Z 6 and Z 7 to 5.76 million dots. The equipment of the cameras will include slots for CFexpress and SD memory cards.
In addition, cameras are credited with new video capabilities, including support for 4K at 60 fps.
As an accessory, a handle with controls will be offered to facilitate vertical-orientation shooting.
The Nikon Z 6s and Z 7s are expected to be announced later this year. They will cost more than the Z 6m Z 7 models, which can now be purchased for about $ 1,800 and $ 2,500, respectively.
