New version of Clock Tuner with support for Ryzen 5000 processors announced

Popular utility for tweaking Ryzen processors, Clock Tuner will receive an update to version 2.0. Clock Tuner for Ryzen (CTR) 2.0 will support Ryzen 5000 processors and will also offer easier processor optimizations.
With CTR 2.0, users will experience a new Hybrid Overclocking Mode, which is a combination of manual and automatic performance enhancements for Ryzen processors. Hybrid OS has two profiles, P1 and P2. The first profile is focused on single-core performance, while the second profile increases the frequencies of several cores at once, which is the best choice, for example, for gaming.

Another important improvement of the utility is a new processor monitoring technology. For CTR 2.0, you do not need to install AMD Ryzen Master proprietary software, since the CTR itself requests data from the processor at a much higher frequency than before. So, the frequency of requesting data from the processor in idle time is 1 ms, and the processor in the load is accessed every 7 ms.
The roadmap for the CTR 2.0 utility was also announced. Version 2.1 will arrive in Q1 2021, which will include additional options to optimize the performance of processors on the Zen 3 architecture. Version 2.2 with support for AMD Ryzen Threadripper 5000 (Genesis) and Ryzen 5000 (Cezanne) mobile processors is expected only in the third quarter of next year ,
Clock Tuner for Ryzen 2.0 also got a new dark interface, a new diagnostic mode, and enhanced logging capabilities. The new version of the utility will be available for download at the end of January 2021.
