New version of Android Auto introduced
At this year’s I/O conference, Google detailed the new version of Android Auto that will be available to all users later this summer.
The big change is that the user interface will now adapt to different screen sizes and orientations, which will be split by default. The goal is to give drivers quick and easy control over the three most used aspects of Android Auto – maps, media controls and messaging.
Google Assistant, notifications, maps, music player and other applications will be easily accessible on the screen (three active windows at the same time), no matter if it is in portrait or landscape orientation. Small windows will be either at the bottom or on the side of the screen that is closer to the steering wheel. The assistant will now offer quick replies to conversations, including the ability to share an estimated arrival time with your contacts.
Cars with built-in Android Auto, including new models from Volvo, Ford and GMC, will get additional benefits while the car is parked. These include a web browser and the ability to view YouTube, Tubi and Epix Now videos on the car’s screen.
Google also said it is working on adding more video content and the ability to cast video to the car’s display.

The weight of the 15-inch model is 1.99 kg, the 17-inch model is 2.41 kg. The cost is from 1300 dollars.
