New update for Galaxy Watch 3 improves blood oxygen measurement accuracy

A few weeks ago, Samsung pleased South Korean users with a firmware update for the Galaxy Watch 3, which improved the accuracy of blood oxygen measurements. Finally, this update is rolling out outside South Korea as well.
According to the portal Sammobile, which actively monitors the activities of Samsung, the update under the number R8xxXXU1BTK1 is gradually rolling out to users in Europe. In addition to improving blood oxygen monitoring, the update includes new voice prompts when connecting a wireless headset in training mode. In addition, voice prompts can be used to track distance traveled and heart rate messages. By the way, voice prompts have been added for the Galaxy Watch Active 2, but so far only in South Korea. The update also improves the overall stability and reliability of the system.
If the R8xxXXU1BTK1 firmware hasn’t arrived on your Galaxy Watch 3 yet, then you just have to wait as Samsung will eventually make the update available to all markets.
