New SoC, AMOLED, 120Hz and NFC. Poco X3 Pro Introduced, First Buyers Offering Big Discount

The Poco brand, which proclaimed its independence from Xiaomi, presented its new flagship smartphone – Poco X3 Pro, which generated a great response on the network even before the announcement.

The Poco X3 Pro is based on the Snapdragon 860 SoC, which is actually an updated Snapdragon 855+. The 7nm SoC combines the Adreno 640 GPU and eight Kryo 485 CPU cores, including one at 2.96Hz, three at 2.42Hz, and four at 1.8Hz.

The platform scored 491,412 points in the AnTuTu benchmark. According to the manufacturer, Snapdragon 860 is 76% more efficient than Snapdragon 720G and 52% more efficient than Snapdragon 765G.

The smartphone is equipped with a 6.7-inch AMOLED screen with Full HD + resolution (2400 x 1080 pixels) with an image refresh rate of 120 Hz, a 20 megapixel front camera, a quadruple main camera (48, 8, 2 and 2 megapixels), a side fingerprint scanner, stereo speakers.

The battery has a capacity of 5160 mAh with support for 33 W fast charging. They promised to put a 33 W charger in the package.

The smartphone is equipped with the Android 11 operating system with a proprietary MIUI 12 shell. 4G LTE, Bluetooth 5, Wi-Fi 5, NFC are supported, there is an infrared port, a 3.5 mm audio jack and a USB Type-C connector.

In Europe, Poco X3 Pro is presented in the following variants:

  • 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal flash memory – 249 euros
  • 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of internal flash memory – 299 euros

The first buyers will be able to get a novelty with a big discount – for 199 and 249 euros, respectively. Available in dark gray, blue and white with a bronze sheen.

Details about the Oppo smartphone with a flexible screen appeared on the web. According to the source, the device will be released in November and will be built on a single-chip Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 platform.

The smartphone does not have a name, but the key characteristics are listed. So, the device is assigned an OLED screen with a diagonal of 8 inches with a frame rate of 120 Hz, a 32-megapixel front camera and a multi-module main camera with a main sensor with a resolution of 50 megapixels, a 4500 mAh battery with support for 65 W fast charging. The operating system is expected to be Android 11 with ColorOS 12 interface. There is no price, but it will probably be more affordable than the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold3.
