New MacBook Air M1 and MacBook Pro M1 Retain 720p Camera, But Image Quality Improved With New M1 Processor

Apple introduced its new 5nm M1 chip in new Mac models, replacing Intel processors. And this is almost the biggest update for the MacBook Air and MacBook Pro.

In terms of design and tech, Apple hasn’t bothered to cram something new into the M1 MacBook Air and M1 MacBook Pro, leaving the 720p camera, for example. Unlike the 27-inch 2020 iMac, which received a ton of positive reviews for improving not only camera quality but also microphone sound quality, Apple settled on the same 720p camera for the M1 MacBook Air and M1 MacBook Pro. At the same time, the new M1 chip may well compensate for this.

According to the information, the new ISP M1 will reduce noise while providing better dynamic range and white balance. This should significantly improve image quality, according to Apple officials. So far, these are only the words of officials, not confirmed by any tests. Therefore, until the new MacBook Air and MacBook Pro are available, it is not worth talking about the improved image quality of the camera.
