New iPad Pro gets fat due to Mini LED screen

Apple is now preparing a new generation of branded tablets. Meanwhile, the network is accumulating information about future updates. This time, the details were shared by the Japanese thematic resource MacOtakara.

According to the source, Apple will unveil the new 11-inch and 12.9-inch iPad Pros in March 2021. At the same time, the 12.9-inch model will be slightly thicker than its predecessor – by 0.5 mm due to the transition to the Mini LED screen.

Another change in the upcoming iPad Pro is that the main camera module will not protrude so much. Also, the number of speaker holes will decrease by one third, and the speakers themselves will change their location.

MacOtakara has an extensive track record of leaks related to Apple products. For example, last year the resource published a photo of iPhone 12 mockups and sketches of the iPhone SE 2 a few months before their announcement.
