New Bizum functions that will arrive in 2022
Making a Bizum has become one more phrase in our vocabulary. Surely many of us this Christmas have received a Bizum in the form of a gift or adjusted accounts with a friend or relative if we have made gifts together or shared an expense. And it is that Bizum already touches the 20 million users in Spain. Who does not use it is that it does not want, since its operation is intuitive and simple. Since the platform joined forces with the main banking entities in our country and due to the increase in electronic payment methods, more and more users are using this service. These are the news that Bizum brings us for 2022.
If during 2021 Bizum launched options as interesting as the Bizum Key, and both businesses and high institutions have already adopted it as a form of payment, 2022 also brings new functions to Bizum. A clear example of this has been the agreement with State Lotteries and Gambling that allows us to both pay and spare prizes through the Bizum QR code.
Paying taxes with Bizum
Although there are alternatives to Bizum, rare is the person who does not have this active system of sending payments through mobile that allows us to send and receive money between individuals immediately among many other functions that we have been talking about in recent months.
One of the great novelties that has reached Bizum and is expected to spread throughout the national territory is the payment of fines through Bizum. At the moment it is only available in Álava, Guipúzcoa and Vizcaya, and for certain payments through Kutxabank. One of the great novelties that could occur in 2022 is that the majority of institutional payments throughout Spain could be made through this service.
New Bizum app
Although the date has not yet been confirmed, it is a reality that a Bizum app of its own is about to arrive. It will be a companion app to that of the banks so it will not replace or diminish its importance.
The company intends to establish an app this year that will make it easier to share expenses with friends, as well as have new online payment functions. In principle, it is not expected that the Bizum app will have integrated electronic payment, but it should continue to be done from each bank’s own application. However, you will have the possibility of create groups to make different payments.
Bizum studies going out of Spain
The great objective of Bizum in 2022 is to make the leap abroad. At the moment we can only use it with Spanish bank accounts, but who knows if 2022 could be the year of definitive jump abroad of the company. A novelty that could be very useful for those people who work or study abroad and want to send or receive money in the bank account belonging to the country where they reside.

Lenovo has published a teaser dedicated to its first AI laptop – Xiaoxin Pro AI Ultrabook 2024. One of the main features of the device will be low noise level.
The image shows the cooling system of the Xiaoxin Pro AI Ultrabook 2024. Everything here is pretty standard for a model that does not have a dGPU: two heat pipes and two fans. The creators say that the minimum noise level of the system will be only 17 dBA, and this is really low. But there is a nuance: we are talking about noise at the minimum fan speed in energy saving mode. And although Lenovo says that the laptop’s performance in this mode will be high, it will still be far from what the Core Ultra processor can show in maximum performance mode.
The official premiere of the new product, apparently, will take place this week – immediately after Intel introduces the CPU Core Ultra. Lenovo Xiaoxin Pro AI Ultrabook 2024 will receive 32 GB of RAM, a 1 TB SSD, an 84 Wh battery (the predecessor has 75 Wh) and support for 100-watt charging.

Samsung smartphones from the Galaxy S24 line and devices from the iPhone 16 line will likely retain the same RAM options that current models currently have.
Analysts at Mizuho Securities, cited by insider Revegnus, say that the growing demand for AI should, in theory, contribute to the growth of RAM in smartphones. We previously reported that thanks to the emphasis on AI, manufacturers may begin to actively equip their smartphones with 16-24 GB of RAM.
However, a significant increase in memory prices, as well as the still missing scenarios for local AI that will run directly on smartphones, will lead to the fact that next year manufacturers will not actively increase the amount of memory. In particular, Samsung and Apple can leave everything as it is now.
This means that the iPhone 16 and 16 Plus will each receive 6 GB of RAM, and the iPhone 16 Pro and 16 Pro Max will each receive 8 GB. Samsung’s new generation flagships will have 8 or 12 GB of RAM.
It is likely that other manufacturers will not rush to increase volumes, and this, in turn, may slow down the development of local AI on smartphones.

Samsung today introduced not only the Galaxy A15, but also the Galaxy A25. This model is built on the proprietary SoC Exynos 1280, and its design feature is the so-called “button island”. This is the elevation of the side frame in the area of the power and volume keys.
Galaxy A25 received an AMOLED screen with a diagonal of 6.5 inches, Full HD+ resolution, frame rate of 120 Hz and maximum brightness of 1000 cd/sq.m. Interestingly, unlike the younger model, there are versions with both 8 GB and 6 GB of RAM (the Galaxy A15 has strictly 8 GB), the flash memory capacity is only 128 GB.
The main camera of the Galaxy A25 has three sensors with a resolution of 50, 8 and 2 megapixels. The main module has optical stabilization. Front camera with 13 megapixel sensor.
The battery capacity is 5000 mAh, and supports 25 W wired charging. One UI 6.0 out of the box is used as the shell. Dimensions and weight of the smartphone are 161 x 76.5 x 8.3 mm and 197 grams. Price: $270.
