A new leak indicates that the new Apple 4K TV box will launch on May 21, 2021 – the same day the updated 24-inch iMac and the new iPad Pro go on sale.
This information was published by reputable network whistle-blower Jon Prosser, who has proven himself well on past leaks related to Apple products. Previously, he assumed that the 11-inch iPad Pro will go on sale on May 22, but now he clarified that both models will be released on May 21. 120W, 144Hz, Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen1 and Dimensity 9000. First details about Xiaomi Pad 6 tablets

Xiaomi has already entered the promising Pad 6 tablet into the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) database, but the lineup will include not one, but three devices: Pad 6, Pad 6 Pro and Pad 6 Pro 5G. The source believes that Xiaomi will take a dual-platform approach to them.
This means that Qualcomm SoCs and Mediatek SoCs will be used simultaneously. In particular, Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 and Dimensity 9000. That is, in terms of performance, the top versions of Pad 6 will not be inferior to flagship smartphones. Also, Pad 6 is credited with more powerful charging technology – 120W instead of 67W. As the source notes, this is especially important for devices with a battery capacity of more than 8000 mAh. Other features of the Pad 6 include 144Hz screens, better audio, and a new version of MIUI for Pad.

Google bets on tablets: new Google Calculator app unveiled

Recently, Google announced that it will focus on tablets again and bring various software improvements to Android 13. The company also announced that it will release about 20 apps optimized for tablets. The company released an updated calculator app for tablets this week.
The Google Calculator preinstalled on various phones and tablets now has a new user interface design. The new version 8.2 is optimized to take full advantage of the tablet’s large display. Now the calculator shows all the necessary buttons on the right and the history log on the left. Previously, the application took up the entire screen only to display the number and function buttons.
What’s more, when the app is used with another app in split-screen multitasking mode, the history log disappears so that both apps can be used without any problem. The app also received a quick settings toggle that allows you to quickly access the calculator from any screen.
In a previous update, Google introduced the Material You design to the Google Calculator app. Samsung Galaxy Tab devices come preloaded with the Samsung Calculator app with a lot of features and a decent user interface. This is in stark contrast to Apple, which doesn’t ship its iPads with any kind of calculator app.

And this is the “king of tablets”? Realme unveiled Pad X, which offers a lot for its price, but it’s not a flagship at all

Realme has just unveiled the Pad X, which they call the king of tablets. And while the novelty does not pull at all for the title of king.
The tablet costs 195 or 235 dollars, depending on the modification, and already here it is clear that this is far from being a flagship. Rumors were attributed to the new SoC Snapdragon 870, and some sources claimed that a version on Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 would also be released. But Pad X is based only on Snapdragon 695, although the appearance of some kind of modification on a more productive platform still cannot be ruled out.
The tablet also received 4 or 6 GB of RAM and 64 or 128 GB of flash memory. The 11-inch screen features 2K resolution, 450 cd/m2 brightness, and supports a stylus sold separately for $75. You can also buy a keyboard for $60.
In addition, the tablet has a 13 megapixel camera, a 8340 mAh battery with 33-watt charging support, four speakers and a thin metal body (7.1 mm).
In general, it turned out to be a very good inexpensive tablet, but not a king at all.
