Detailed characteristics of Apple Watch Series 7 smart watches have appeared on the Web. Apple itself, as usual, does not indicate all parameters for its devices.

The information was taken from some internal company documents. So now we know, for example, that the smaller version of the watch, depending on the case material, weighs 32 g (aluminum), 37 g (titanium) or 42.3 g (stainless steel). For larger, the corresponding values are 38.8, 45.1 or 51.5 g.

The watch screen is still covered by the Ion-X glass, and the maximum brightness is still 1000 cd / m2. At the same time, the screen brightness in Always-On Display mode, when the user’s wrist is lowered, reaches 500 cd / m2, which is 70% more than that of the previous generation of watches.

However, this could ultimately be the next generation watch.

Several sources after the announcement of the Series 7 stated that the new design will eventually go to the Series 8 model next year. That is, all the leaks and rumors were true, just their authors did not guess with the generation. You can also recall that recently there was information about the postponement of the start of sales of Series 7 due to production problems. It is possible that the design with flat edges was originally approved for the model of the current year, but after that, due to difficulties, Apple decided to postpone its implementation until next year.

The Apple Watch Series 7 smartwatch, unlike its predecessors, comes with a magnetic charger with a USB-C connector. As it turns out, Apple opted to bundle the same one with its affordable Watch SE.

At the same time, both Series 6 and Series 3, which remained in service after the release of the new model, are still equipped with a magnetic charger with a USB-A connector. Perhaps they will also face a similar replacement, but then it is not very clear why Apple did not carry out it at the same time for all current watches.

In general, at the moment, Apple has some kind of confusion over the issue of connectors. For example, the company switched almost all iPads to USB-C, but for some reason left the new base model with Lightning.
