NASA chief criticizes China for refusing to provide data on space rocket flights

China did not provide data on the flight path of the Long March 5B (Changzheng-5B) launch vehicle that returned to Earth. This must be done to use space responsibly and protect human lives on Earth.,” Nelson wrote on Twitter. He noted that possible rocket debris could carry serious risks of loss of life and destruction of property.

Bill Nelson talks about the 18-ton stage of the Long March-5B rocket, which today partially burned up in the atmosphere, and its fragments fell in the Philippines in the Sulu Sea. Some media feared that the uncontrolled fall of the Changer-5B stage could pose a risk to people and objects, but these fears did not materialize.

On July 24, the Changzheng-5B launched the Wentian laboratory module for the Chinese space station Tiangong into orbit.
