MSI Unveils Optix G272 Monitor with NVIDIA G-Sync 144Hz

The MSI Optix G272 is a gaming monitor with a slim 3-sided bezel making it an interesting multi-monitor solution. The novelty is developed on the basis of a 27-inch IPS-panel with a resolution of 1920 × 1080 pixels (FHD), a screen refresh rate of up to 144 Hz and a response time of 1 ms (without specification). NVIDIA G-Sync technology is used to prevent frame tearing, which ensures smooth movements in games.
The MSI Optix G272 monitor can offer the user wide viewing angles of 178 ° vertically and horizontally, anti-reflective screen coating, brightness 250 nits, contrast ratio 1000: 1. The manufacturer indicates the ability to display 16.7 million colors, the coverage of the DCI-P3 color space at 92.4%, sRGB at 120.3%. Flicker reduction and blue filtering are applied to protect the eyes.
The model offers 7 modes, of which 4 are for different genres of video games, and 3 are for entertainment and work. Supports Night Vision function to improve the visibility of dark areas. A 5-position joystick on the back of the monitor is proposed for control.
