Mobile GeForce RTX 3070 Tested in Geekbench, 17% Slower than Desktop

The mobile version of the GeForce RTX 3070 graphics card was spotted in the popular Geekbench benchmark. The accelerator scored 110,839 points there. This is 17% less than the desktop RTX 3070. In addition, the GeForce RTX 3070M is 7% behind the desktop GeForce RTX 3060 Ti. The performance is roughly on par with the GeForce RTX 2080.
Earlier we named the characteristics of three graphics cards of the RTX 30 Ampere generation, designed for laptops – we are talking about the GeForce RTX 3060M, RTX 3070M and RTX 3080M.
Recall that the mobile GeForce RTX 3070 is based on the GA104-770 chipset, has only 5,120 CUDA cores (the desktop accelerator has 5888), is equipped with a 256-bit memory bus, 8 GB of GDDR6 video memory and operates at frequencies from 1.1 to 1, 6 GHz. TDP is 115-150 W for the regular model and 80-90 W for the Max-Q version.
Earlier, the European laptop manufacturer SKIKK disclosed the cost of its laptops with RTX 30 Ampere generation accelerators.
