The verified network informant Digital Chat Station reports that the latest MIUI 13 shell has already been tested on the new flagship Xiaomi 12, and it has received very good reviews from beta testers.

According to the information released to the public, the Xiaomi 12 lineup will be officially released at the end of December this year. Simultaneously with the smartphone, Xiaomi may present its proprietary MIUI 13 software shell based on Android 12. At the same time, it is expected that Xiaomi 12 will come with a pre-installed extended version of MIUI 12.5, and later will be updated to the MIUI 13 shell.

The Xiaomi 12 is expected to receive an updated 50MP main camera, a larger optical fingerprint scanner and 100W charging. The battery capacity must be at least 4500 mAh. The smartphone will ship with an LTPO screen and adaptive refresh rate adjustment from 1 to 120 Hz. When a compatible game is launched, the display refresh rate is automatically set to 120Hz. In other modes, it will be much lower.

The same source said that all Xiaomi 12 production models are equipped with the SM8450 platform, that is, they use Samsung’s Snapdragon 8 Gen1.

Digital Chat Station was the first to accurately report the specifications and release dates of the Redmi K30, K40, Xiaomi Mi 10 and Mi 11.

Popular Action Launcher Android skin gets more free features

Action Launcher is a fairly popular shell for the Android operating system among paid ones. The developers have released Action Launcher v50, which has many more free features for those who do not want to pay for such features.

The app has gone through a lot of improvements over the years to keep up with some of the key improvements made by Google. However, in recent times there has been more and more criticism that the free basic version had a minimum number of features.

The Action Launcher’s implementation of the Freemium system has historically been terrible. We pushed people too aggressively to buy the Plus upgrade, which turned off so many people, and the app was hardly interesting for non-paying users.

Action Launcher v50 is suitable for everyone whether you pay or not. The new version offers an improved search engine that uses the Pixel Launcher. Action search gives you the best results on the web and on your device, as well as some action launcher settings that can be toggled right from the home screen.

In addition to action search and other free features, the action launcher’s own settings are changed. The app adds a settings search bar as well as shortcuts to recently changed settings.
