Microsoft Surface Duo is cracking due to very thin plastic near the USB-C port

Buyers of the recently launched Microsoft Surface Duo foldable smartphone are complaining about the device’s low durability. The phone got too thin plastic near the USB-C port, which causes cracks in this place.

For some users, the case cracked while connecting the charger, while for others it was just being in their pocket. Why Microsoft did not foresee the future problem and did not make this part of the case out of metal is unknown. At the same time, the cost of Microsoft Surface Duo is $ 1,399.

Earlier, iFixit experts disassembled a new Microsoft smartphone and rated its maintainability at 2 points out of 10.
