Microsoft released a Windows 7 update one year after the end of support. It is only available for money

Microsoft has released an update to the Windows 7 operating system, whose support ended a year ago.
Microsoft ended support for the Windows 7 operating system exactly one year ago – January 14, 2020. Nevertheless, this OS continues to be used by millions of people, despite the risks and security threats.
For corporate users, there is a way out – they were asked to extend support for Windows 7 until January 2023 at an additional cost and continue to receive security updates as part of the Windows 7 ESU (Extended Security Updates) program. This pleasure is worth a lot – $ 25 for each computer in the first year, with a subsequent price increase to $ 50 or even $ 100.
It is for these paid users that the latest Windows 7 update under the number KB4598279 was released. In addition to the usual security improvements, the update also fixes an issue with the MIT (Managed Identity for Application) service.
