Microsoft has completely redesigned the Windows context menu. And this is how it looks
The Windows context menu (it is activated by pressing the right key) is one of the most conservative elements of the OS. But in Windows 11, he underwent a major upgrade: the company promised many innovations in the new operating system, and they even affected the context menu.
Rounded corners have appeared in it, but this is, one might say, a general innovation of Windows 11. Much more noticeable is the metamorphosis that has occurred with the traditional points of copy, cut, delete, etc. – now they are grouped at the very top in one line and represented by a series of icons. The rest of the context menu items at the very beginning are represented by visual icons – this makes it easier to navigate in them. Well, for retrogrades who consider the context menu from Windows 7 to be a model of the ideal, the Show more options item is presented at the very bottom – according to it, the Windows 11 context menu takes the classic look familiar from Windows 7, Windows 8 and Windows 10.

WhatsApp users will be banned from taking screenshots of files for one-time viewing
WhatsApp developers are working on a new feature that will prevent users from taking screenshots and capturing video from the screen when opening files for a one-time view. The innovation has already been implemented in the beta version of the messenger for Android.
So, in the future mobile version of WhatsApp, users will be notified before sending a file with a single view that the recipient will be able to open the photo or video only once and will not be able to resend it to anyone, save it, copy it or take a screenshot. There are no such notifications or warnings in the current version of WhatsApp. True, at the same time, nothing prevents the recipient from recording a video or photographing content on another smartphone.
Recall that recently the release of a full-fledged WhatsApp client for desktop PCs and laptops running Windows took place.

Xiaomi will stop developing MIUI for eight smartphones. Among them are Redmi Note 9, Redmi Note 9 Pro, Redmi 10X and Xiaomi Mi 10 Ultra

Xiaomi today announced that it will stop working on beta firmware versions for nine of its smartphones from October 31 this year: Xiaomi 10 Ultra, Redmi K30S Extreme Commemorative Edition, Redmi Note 9 Pro, Redmi Note 9 4G, Redmi 10X, Redmi 10X Pro , Redmi K30 5G Extreme Edition and Redmi Note 9.
Naturally, this does not mean at all that all these models will immediately stop receiving software updates – fresh firmware for them will continue to be released for a long time, as beta versions are transferred to the release (final) status. However, we can already say that these models will not receive anything fresher than MIUI 13 (MIUI 14 will not be released until November).
Xiaomi also announced the recruitment of participants in the Android 13 beta testing group for the Redmi K50 Gaming Edition gaming smartphone – the test will be launched before the end of this month.
