Microsoft has been preparing for the release of its proprietary Chromium-based Edge browser for a long time in a version for the Linux operating system. And so, today Microsoft announced the launch of the beta version of Edge for Linux.

This happened six months after the launch of the Dev Channel under the Edge Insider for Linux. Variations are available for Debian / Ubuntu, Fedora and openSUSE.

The beta version of Microsoft Edge 91 brings a number of innovations, including a “current page” option for PDF printing, new color themes, and so on.
