Microsoft 365 services and apps no longer support Internet Explorer 11

Microsoft continues to systematically remove the legacy of Internet Explorer. Since yesterday, August 17, Microsoft 365 apps and services have stopped supporting Internet Explorer 11.

Microsoft has updated a page to clarify the browser phase out. The company notes that starting August 17, Microsoft 365 applications in Internet Explorer 11 may start to perform worse or users may not be able to connect to these applications and services at all.

Support from Microsoft is also dropping and new features are not worth waiting for. The functionality will gradually be cut until applications and services are permanently disabled.

However, some services will continue to work. That way, Outlook Web App remains available and the “Open with Explorer” and “View in Explorer” features continue to work.

Asus started rolling out Android 12 to the Zenfone 8 and Zenfone 8 Flip back in December. It took the Taiwanese company almost five months to continue what they started. Android 12 is now available for Zenfone 7 and Zenfone 7 Pro released in 2020.

The new firmware has version number 31.0210.0210.250 for both models. As usual, new software is being distributed in batches, so it may take a few days before all the smartphones in the world receive the update notification. You can go to Settings > System and click on System Updates to manually check for an update.
