Mi 11 will be released without a camera under the display. It will appear in another Xiaomi smartphone

The third-generation Xiaomi sub-screen camera will not be installed on the Mi 11, but on another smartphone from the Chinese brand. On condition of anonymity the journalists were told about this by a “well-informed source”. According to him, the most likely candidate for a sub-screen camera is the Mi Mix smartphone.

From a recent statement by the CEO of Xiaomi, it follows that the appearance of the first smartphone with the discussed technical solution will take place in 2021. Immediately after the announcement of the relevant information, most users rushed to “place” the sub-screen camera on the previously announced flagship Mi 11.

The source quoted by the MyDrivers portal claims that the Mi 11 sample that came to it contains a hole for the traditional front camera. Accordingly, one of the following Xiaomi devices will be used for the debut of the sub-screen camera. An insider’s opinion on this matter is Mi Mix.
