Mercedes-Benz unveils “hyperscreen”: 56-inch OLED touchscreen car with 8-core processor and 24 GB of RAM

Mercedes-Benz today unveiled its latest in-car infotainment system. Moreover, it is not at all simple, since we are talking about the new electric flagship EQS, which should debut this spring and go on sale in the summer. The electric flagship is not just another S-Klasse, so it has a corresponding “dashboard”.

This phrase is not just put in quotation marks, because Hyperscreen MBUX has practically nothing to do with conventional dashboards. Here, multiple OLED displays are combined into, effectively, one curved 56-inch panel! That is, the screens extend practically from the left A-pillar to the right. The Hyperscreen MBUX turned out to be so large that the side ventilation deflectors had to be integrated directly into it.

For the smooth operation and various functions of the Hyperscreen MBUX, a single-chip platform with an 8-core processor, coupled with 24 GB (!) Of RAM, is responsible. The company notes that a distinctive feature of the novelty’s interface is the “zero-level menu”. This means that to access various functions and systems of MBUX, you will not need to wander through endless menu items: access to navigation, radio, media system, phone is provided constantly by clicking on the corresponding icon, and access to other functions is maximally simplified and depends on the context of actions user (the device relies heavily on artificial intelligence in its work). “We love simplicity and that’s why we’ve taken MBUX to the next level,” said Gordon Wagener, chief designer of the Daimler Group.

“The MBUX Hyperscreen is both the brain and the nervous system of a car,” said Sajjad Khan, Technical Director and Member of the Board of Directors of Mercedes-Benz AG, about the new product.

Such behavior is tantamount to suicide the insider believes that

Well-known insider Ice Universe, who regularly shares exclusive information about the latest in the mobile industry, made a prediction about the upcoming policy of Samsung.

He said that against the background of competition with Chinese manufacturers, Samsung, led by the current head of the mobile division, will remain “lazy.”

Chinese brands and Apple will take practical action to convince Samsung and Tae Moon Ro (T.M. Roh) stagnate, blindly cut costs, strive for high profits and be lazy. This behavior is tantamount to suicide.

In addition, the insider made a forecast about sales of the flagship smartphone Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra, as well as other upcoming models of the manufacturer.

It can be foreseen that sales of the Galaxy S23 and S23+ will become increasingly insignificant. Samsung will only be able to maintain a high level of sales of the flagship model Galaxy S23 Ultra. Until the release of the Fold5 and Flip5, sales of the Fold4 and Flip4 will drop significantly.

Ice Universe was the first to accurately talk about the new trend of smartphones with waterfall screens, the notch in the iPhone X, the new design of the iPhone 14 and Samsung’s 200-megapixel image sensor. Recently, he was the first to accurately report that Redmi Note 12 Pro + will receive a 200-megapixel main camera. The first Tesla trucks with megawatt charging have been delivered

Tesla made the first deliveries of its Semi truck to customers on Thursday evening, five years after the unveiling. The online presentation showed trucks adorned with the liveries of Pepsi and Frito-Lay, a snack food subsidiary of PepsiCo.

Tesla Semi was shown as a prototype in 2017. Then Tesla CEO Elon Musk announced that production would begin in 2019. At the same time, during today’s presentation, Musk did not say how many trucks were delivered by PepsiCo and how many cars were produced in total.

The all-electric truck features an unusual design in which the driver sits in the center of the cab rather than on the side. Tesla boasts about the truck’s power, saying it accelerates much faster, even when fully loaded, than traditional diesel-powered trucks. During the presentation, a video was shown showing how a fully loaded Tesla Semi accelerates up a steep hill and overtakes other trucks.

Because the Tesla Semi doesn’t have a multi-speed transmission like diesel trucks, it’s also much easier to drive. According to Musk, the truck can travel 800 km on a single charge. It has three electric motors, one of which drives the truck most of the time, while the other two are used primarily for acceleration and hard traction. According to the Tesla leader, the truck can pull up to 37 tons.

The trucks were announced to support megawatt ultra-fast chargers, however it was not announced how long it would take to recharge the truck. These chargers will also be available for use by Cybertruck drivers when the Tesla pickup goes on sale, Musk said.
