The Mercedes-Benz S 580 e 4MATIC is a plug-in hybrid with four-wheel drive. The car is available in short and long wheelbase versions starting at 132,125.70 euros. For the first time in a Mercedes-Benz S-Class, a completely leatherless finish is available here.

The well-known Chinese company Chery has presented a new futuristic crossover through its Jetour brand, which so far passes under the model number X-1. Until January 1, there is a competition in which those who wish can offer their own version of the name for the car.

The Jetour X-1 is built on a completely new platform called Kunlun, and the car is equipped with Huawei’s L3 self-driving system, which allows the car to drive on its own most of the time, but in an emergency, the driver must take control. SEC Investigates Tesla Following Complaints Of Defective Solar Panels

The US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) is investigating Tesla following a complaint alleging that the company did not disclose the security risks associated with solar panels installed on rooftops. These panels are supplied by Tesla’s SolarCity.

The commission acknowledged that the complaint, which served as the basis for the investigation, was filed by Steven Henkes, a former Tesla employee.

He contacted the SEC in 2019 after the automaker allegedly ignored his requests to notify consumers and regulators of solar panel safety concerns. One problem was related to defective electrical connectors that could cause a fire. More than 60,000 consumers have been affected by these problems, according to the complaint.

In 2020, Henkes sued Tesla, claiming the company fired him in retaliation for his actions.
