Meizu is not going to inflate the Meizu 18 lineup

The line of flagship smartphones Samsung Galaxu S21 – three models, Xiaomi is preparing to complement the Mi 11 with models Mi 11 Pro (or Ultra) and Mi 11 Lite, the OnePlus 9 line will have three models, and the same goes for the Huawei P50 series. But Meizu is not going to follow the path of everyone else: there will be only two flagships.

This is indicated by the new official teaser – with three glasses, one of which is crossed out. Smartphone manufacturers in China traditionally call flagships (Big Cup), so Meizu is not going to waste it on trifles – there will be no younger model in the series, but only Meizu 18 and Meizu 18 Pro.

Another teaser suggests that the Meizu 18 and Meizu 18 Pro will support both USB Power Delivery (PD) and Quick Charge 3.0 (QC 3.0) fast charging technologies. This significantly expands the list of compatible devices for fast charging.

Recall that the official premiere of new products will take place on March 3. Meizu 18 will use SoC Snapdragon 870 (as in Redmi K40), and Meizu 18 Pro – Snapdragon 888. The resolution of the front camera of the older model will be 44 megapixels.
