Meizu has published another batch of teasers dedicated to the new flagships. As usual, one picture shows the Meizu 18, the other shows the Meizu 18 Pro.
The first image shows that the smartphone fits comfortably in the hand, and with a diagonal of only 6.2 inches, it will be comfortable to operate with one hand. The second picture suggests that the Meizu 18 Pro uses a 4500 mAh rechargeable battery. Moreover, we already know that it will be possible to charge it, including wirelessly.
We will remind, the official premiere of Meizu 18 and 18 Pro will take place on Wednesday, March 3. There will be only two of these models in the series.
120Hz, 50MP, Snapdragon 778G+ and glass on both sides: Nothing Phone highlights revealed (1)
Nothing Phone (1) will be released on July 12th, but most of its specs are already known today. Insider Abhishek Yadav tweeted the key specs and showed a document that looks like a product detail page.
It is alleged that the novelty will receive a 6.55-inch OLED display with support for adaptive refresh rates up to 120 Hz. The novelty will be equipped with a dual main camera with a 50 megapixel main sensor and f/1.8 aperture. The leak suggests that the smartphone can record 4K video at 60fps.
The phone will have an aluminum frame and flat bezels covered with Gorilla glass. Wireless direct and reverse charging, Snapdragon 778+ processor, Glyph Interface system on the rear panel are the same LEDs. The smartphone will run NothingOS based on Android 12.
The cost has not yet been announced, but the source believes that it will be less than $400.
In 2020, Abhishek Yadav was the first to publish reliable information about Xiaomi Mi 10T Pro smartphones, Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 5 and some other models.
This will probably be one of the most overpriced mid-range smartphones out there. Named the cost of Nothing Phone (1)
The premiere of the Nothing Phone (1) smartphone from the founder of OnePlus will soon take place, but the Network already has details about both the characteristics and the price. Their combination suggests that Nothing Phone (1) will be one of the most overpriced mid-range models.
For the basic Nothing Phone (1), with 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of flash memory, they will ask 470 euros in Europe. The 8/256 GB and 12/256 GB variants are priced at €500 and €550, respectively. At the same time, Nothing Phone (1) will not offer anything particularly outstanding in terms of characteristics: SoC Snapdragon 778G Plus, a 50-megapixel camera and an OLED screen are in much more affordable models. Moreover, the Google Pixel 6 is now in the same price range – it can be purchased in Europe for 500-550 euros. Isn’t Karl Pei asking a lot for a model that differs from most in a transparent cover and a couple of dozen LEDs placed under it?
Samsung has released a smartphone that neither Xiaomi, nor Huawei, nor Realme offers the likes of. Introduced secure Galaxy XCover6 Pro with a removable battery
Samsung has introduced a secure smartphone Galaxy XCover6 Pro. The manufacturer has not yet revealed the price, but earlier there were rumors about 600 euros. The device will go on sale in July.
Unlike many of its predecessors, the Galaxy XCover6 Pro offers far from the most basic specs. The heart here is the Snapdragon 778G, which means that the XCover6 Pro is more productive than most Samsung smartphones in the Galaxy A line.
The device has 6 GB of RAM, 128 GB of flash memory that can be expanded with microSD cards, a 50-megapixel main camera, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide resolution, a 13-megapixel front camera, and a 6.6-inch IPS screen with a resolution of Full HD + with support for 120 Hz. The display is covered with the latest Glass Victus + glass, but probably a film is glued on top, as is usually the case with secure smartphones.
The battery capacity is small by today’s standards and amounts to 4050 mAh, but the device’s battery is removable, that is, you can replace it yourself by simply opening the back cover. Moreover, hot swapping is supported.
Also worth noting is a USB-C 3.2 port, Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.2, two customizable buttons, and DeX support. As for protection, we are talking about IP68 and the MIL-STD-810H standard.
