AMD at the last event at Computex 2022 talked a little about the Ryzen 7000 processors. Given that they will only be released in the fall, it would be foolish to expect many details. At the same time, for some reason, they began to appear after the presentation, and AMD representatives are the source.
For example, initially the company did not talk about the maximum number of cores, although it was indirectly clear that there would be 16 of them. But now we can say this with confidence: the flagship models will have the same 16 cores as the Ryzen 9 5950X. In addition, the conditional Ryzen 9 7950X (the name is conjectural) will indeed feature a TPD of 170W. Although there is a possibility that AMD will release two flagship CPUs: a regular one with less power consumption and the most overclocked one, capable of operating at a frequency of 5.5 GHz. And now his TDP will be the same 170 watts.
From the current 105W, that’s a huge jump, especially given the same core count and thinner process technology. But the frequencies should be much higher for all models, and do not forget about the integrated GPU that all Ryzen 7000 will have.
By the way, about him. The iGPU configuration is unknown. Of course, you should not expect the same 768 stream processors that the mobile Ryzen 6000 has. Early rumors attributed the Ryzen 7000 core with 256 stream processors. In addition, the iGPU itself will be the same for all CPUs in the line. Physically, the GPU will be part of the I/O chiplet, which is manufactured using the 6nm process technology. AMD focuses primarily on video encoding and decoding capabilities, rather than gaming, which is logical given the intended configuration.
It also became known that the new AMD CPUs will support the AVX 512 VNNI and BFLOAT16 instruction sets to accelerate AI.
Separately, it is worth noting the words of an AMD representative that the line of Ryzen Threadripper processors is not going anywhere. This is important, since earlier there were doubts even about the output of the current Threadripper 5000 CPUs.

Thermaltake has unveiled two new Divider series computer cases. The common feature is reflected in the name – the devices are equipped with fans with customizable lighting. Moreover, you can switch the glow modes (there are 27 of them in total) with a button on the top panel of the case – very convenient. Moreover, proprietary backlight control systems via the motherboard are supported – ASUS Aura Sync, GIGABYTE RGB Fusion, MSI Mystic Light Sync and ASRock Polychrome. And the side panels of both the older model and the younger one are framed with tempered glass 3 mm thick – for the convenience of observing lighting effects.
The Thermaltake Divider 370 TG ARGB is a mid-tower case, and it has excellent compatibility with PC components: you can install a CPU cooler up to 170 mm high, two 3.5-inch and 2.5-inch drives, a power supply up to 230 mm long and video card up to 40 cm long (this is without a radiator installed in front, and if with it, the length of the 3D card is limited to 340 mm). A GeForce RTX 4090 Ti will easily fit into such a case, and there will still be a couple of free slots. By the way, Divider 370 TG ARGB allows you to install the video card vertically – this significantly reduces the load both from the PCIe x16 slot and from the motherboard itself.
The Divider 370 TG ARGB is equipped with three 120 mm fans by default: two are mounted on the front panel, one on the back. If necessary, the case can be stuffed with fans (you can install nine 120 mm or five 140 mm fans in total) or LSS (you can install two 360 mm radiators at the same time, one 240 mm format and one more 120 mm format).
Thermaltake Divider 370 TG ARGB has a variant called Divider 370 TG Snow ARGB – it is not completely black, but in a combined black and white design. But everything else is exactly the same as the all-black version.

The Thermaltake Divider 170 TG ARGB is a Micro ATX chassis designed for smaller motherboards. You can’t install the GeForce RTX 4090 Ti right there, and the GeForce RTX 3090 too. Yes, and the vertical installation of the video card is not supported. But top-end 3D cards are not installed in such cases.
The Divider 170 TG ARGB comes standard with two 120mm fans installed on the front panel. You will have to take care of the blower fan yourself.
The case can accommodate a CPU cooler with a height of 160 mm and a power supply unit up to 20 cm long. The maximum length of a compatible video card is 350 mm, but the fan can interfere with this. You can also place four drives inside (two 3.5-inch formats, two 2.5-inch ones). In terms of motherboards, the Divider 170 TG ARGB is compatible with Mini-ITX and microATX models.
Divider 170 TG ARGB also has a black and white version called Divider 170 TG Snow ARGB. The dimensions and weight of this case are 426 x 210 x 408.5 mm and 5.26 kg.
Targeting the budget segment? Intel showed the power of mobile video cards A770M and A730M in games
Intel continues to declassify data about its new graphics cards. This time the company has released official gaming performance figures for the A770M and A730M mobile graphics cards.
Both models are based on the Alchemist ACM-G10 GPU and can compete with Nvidia’s budget models. The company positions the A770M as a competitor to the mobile RTX 3060, while the A730M will compete with the mobile RTX 3050 Ti. Note that the list does not include the RTX 3070 and more powerful solutions, so it seems that the “blue” video cards are aimed at the lower price range.
Here are the configurations Intel tested:
- Intel Arc A730M (TGP 80 – 120W): Core i7-12700H, 16GB DDR5-4800;
- Intel Arc A770M (TGP 120 to 150W): Core i9-12900HK, 16GB DDR5-48004
- NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 Ti (TGP 60W) (ROG Zephyrus M16): Core i7-11800H, 16GB DDR4-3200;
- NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 (TGP 85W) (MSI Pulse GL66): Core i9-12900HK, DDR5-4800.

A total of 17 games were tested at 1920 x 1080, with the A730M averaging 13% faster than the RTX 3050 Ti and the A770M running 12% better than the RTX 3060.
Note that until now, A730M laptops were presented only in China, and models with A770M are not yet available to anyone.

Is it a video card or a brick? GeForce RTX 4090 Ti Founders Edition renders published
Renders of the promising 3D Nvidia GeForce RTX 4090 Ti card, the flagship of the consumer line on the Ada Lovelace GPU, have been published on the Web. The images could be mistaken for someone’s fantasy, but they were provided by the source Moore’s Law is Dead, which previously repeatedly published data on new CPUs and GPUs that were subsequently confirmed. So with a high degree of probability, the GeForce RTX 4090 Ti Founders Edition will look like this.
In terms of design, there’s not much that’s new here compared to Nvidia’s current Founders Edition flagships, but the thickness is certainly impressive. In terms of its dimensions, such a 3D map approached the proportions of a brick. The renders show a three-slot version, but there are rumors that it will occupy 3.5 slots in a PC case. That is, in compact cases designed for microATX and ITX motherboards, one such video card will be installed. However, the same can be said about some cases designed for ATX motherboards. Another limiting factor will be the space between the two PCIe X16 slots on the motherboard – it must be at least four slots so that something else can be installed next to such a video card.
Of the other features, one can only note the illuminated name on the top of the radiator. You can also note the presence of two fans, one of which, judging by the pictures, is visible only from the back of the video card.
If there are many details about the characteristics of other representatives of the line, then little is known about the specifications of the GeForce RTX 4090 Ti. On the other hand, its characteristics are likely to be similar to those of the GeForce RTX 4090, which is credited with 16,384 CUDA cores and 24 GB of 21 GHz GDDR6X memory connected to the GPU by a 384-bit bus.
When the GeForce RTX 4090 Ti will be released is also unclear. Judging by the current line, it will be released after the main lineup is formed.
