Unfortunately, at this point in time, there are very few details regarding the creation of a new Mass Effect part, but it’s still good to hear, given that the series was suspended after the release of Mass Effect Andromeda. Mass Effect: Legendary Edition was also introduced around this time. The Collector’s Edition will be released in 2021. The Mass Effect Legendary Edition will include basic single-player content and DLCs from Mass Effect, Mass Effect 2, and Mass Effect 3, as well as promotional weapons, armor, and sets, all redesigned and optimized for 4k Ultra HD. The edition will be available in Spring 2021 for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC with direct compatibility and targeted enhancements for Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5. More details will be announced in the new year.

Mass Effect Andromeda, the last game in the series. Despite the excellent gameplay mechanics, the game failed to capture the spirit of the first three parts of the series. On paper, Mass Effect Andromeda had a lot of potential, but the team failed to fully realize it. It’s not exactly a bad game, but bad text, horrible animations, and a few perplexing design options leave a lot to be desired. According to many players, Andromeda could have been one of the best RPGs out there, but unfortunately the game never really reached its full potential. Perhaps in the new part BioWare will take into account all their mistakes and make an excellent game.

Against the backdrop of active mergers and acquisitions in the gaming market, the corresponding question was asked by Take Two Interactive, which is primarily known as the owner of Rockstar and, accordingly, the GTA franchise.

Why GTA VI with such success of GTA V? The game has sold over 165 million copies.

Judging by the answer, now the company is not considering the possibility of selling itself to anyone.

We are a public company and we are here for the shareholders. However, our track record of creating value as an independent business is amazing, especially if we exclude the last three months. We think there are many great times ahead for us and we enjoy being an independent company.

One of the main reasons Take Two Interactive is unlikely to want to sell its assets to anyone is the success of GTA V. The company said that it sold another 5 million copies of the game in the last quarter, so now the total circulation is an incredible 165 million copies.

Speaking about the finances of Take Two Interactive, we can note the report on the results of the 2022 financial year, which ended on March 31 for the company. Revenue was $3.5 billion, up 4%. Net profit decreased from 589 to 418 million dollars.
