The first video with the disassembly of the new iPhone SE, introduced by Apple on March 8, has been published on the Web. The hit novelty turned out to be not so simple in terms of repair: if the display is still relatively easy to replace, then you will have to tinker with the battery – although it is equipped with pull tabs that should make it easier to replace, in fact you can’t do without pouring alcohol-containing liquid.

Things are even worse with the replacement of other components – Apple stuffed the new iPhone SE with an incredible amount of screws, and there are also enough small elements.

Disassembly finally gave an answer to the battery parameters of the new iPhone SE. Its capacity was 2018 mAh (7.82 Wh). For comparison, the battery capacity of the iPhone SE 2020 is 1821 mAh. This is a guarantee of increased autonomy of the new iPhone SE relative to its predecessor.

If the iPhone SE 2022 looks like the iPhone SE 2020, is it possible to use components from the previous model in the new model? Answer: no. Despite the fact that the batteries of the two models are visually almost identical, in the new model, Apple has changed the connection connector. The screen of the iPhone SE 2020 can be connected to the iPhone SE 2022, but the touch control will not work fully.

The Alfa-Bank team began to warn users of the mobile application on the iOS platform about the upcoming shutdown of outdated versions.

Alfa-Bank disables outdated iPhone app from May 27

As reported in the Alfa-Bank application, it will stop working from May 27, 2022. We are talking about application users who did not have time to upgrade to version 12.13 and higher. Now the update will no longer work, because the application has been removed from the App Store.

The explanation says the following:

Your version of the app is out of date and you can’t update it yet. Manage money in Alfa-Online – just like in the application.

According to representatives of Alfa-Bank, the notification was sent to “a small part of customers who did not have time to upgrade.” Version 12.13 and later will continue to work correctly.

Recall that the Alfa-Bank application was removed from Google Play and the App Store due to sanctions in April 2022.

The novelty received a 6.9-inch 90-Hz IPS display with Full HD + resolution. The battery capacity is 7000 mAh. Samsung has stopped experimenting with such smartphones, so it is very, very difficult to find something like this on the market.

The heart of the novelty is the SoC MediaTek Helio G88. There are 4 or 6 GB of RAM and 64 or 128 GB of flash memory. The main camera is represented primarily by a 50-megapixel main sensor, and the other two can be left out, as these are just “plugs” with a resolution of 2 megapixels. The resolution of the front camera is 8 megapixels.

From the rest, we can note stereo speakers, a design diluted with a vertical stripe, 25-watt charging and 10-watt reverse charging. By the way, for some reason, a 33-watt charger comes with the device, so this value appears in some promotional materials, which is confusing.

In the Philippines, where the smartphone first debuted, it costs just $172.

Google again can not decide The company changed its mind

Google has again changed its mind about releasing its foldable flagship smartphone.

Google again can not decide. The company changed its mind about releasing a folding smartphone Pixel Fold for the second time

Recall that rumors about the Pixel Fold appeared about a year ago. Then all the sources said that Google will release the device in the fall or at the end of the year, but this did not happen. It became known that the company abandoned the project, as it considered its smartphone uncompetitive against the backdrop of the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold3.

Recently, they began to talk about a smartphone again – supposedly Google returned to its idea and nevertheless will release a flexible device closer to the end of this year. And now the source says that the company again abandoned the project. Or at least greatly revised the timing of its entry into the market.

The source says that Goolge again postponed the release of the smartphone, as it does not suit the company itself. By what parameters, it is not specified. Considering that the current Galaxy Z Fold3 already boasts water resistance, and the Fold4 is supposedly getting a better set of cameras, Google may have been unhappy with a lot about its smartphone.

Be that as it may, the source does not have any details that the Pixel Fold or Pixel Notepad will still be released or when it will be released.

The iPhone may finally have a feature that was still

Apple’s next generation of smartphones may finally get an important feature that has been on many Android phones for years. It’s about Always On Display.

The iPhone may finally have a feature that was still on the old Nokia smartphones. iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max may get Always On Display

In the current generation, in older models, Apple for the first time for the iPhone used displays with a higher frame rate. In particular, they can change the frequency from 10 to 120 Hz. The iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max may get screens that can drop down to 1Hz. And this will allow Apple to implement a very energy efficient version of the Always On Display.

Ross Young, founder of research firms Display Supply Chain Consultants and DisplaySearch, expects such a feature to actually arrive on the iPhone. Also, about a year ago, the appearance of this feature was also attributed to the iPhone 13 Pro and Pro Max, but for some reason Apple decided not to do this.

The Always On Display feature debuted on the Nokia 6303 feature phone in 2009, and then became more widespread on the Nokia smartphone with Simbian and Lumia devices.
