LG has introduced a new UltraGear gaming monitor with model number “34GP83-A”.

Recall that the UltraGear line was announced along with UltraWide and UltraFine Ergo displays at CES 2020. The new monitor is similar to the LG 27GN950-B launched in July in that it features a curved Nano IPS panel with fast response time, G-Sync compatibility and high refresh rate. All these features are great for those who like to spend time playing games.

The gaming monitor features a 34-inch ultra-wide curved Nano IPS panel with 3440 x 1440 pixel resolution, 1ms G2G response time and 144Hz refresh rate. This 10-bit panel has a 1000: 1 contrast ratio and 400 nits brightness, covering 98% of the wide DCI-P3 color gamut. The monitor also features 178 ° wide viewing angles and color calibration.

In addition, the LG 34PG83-A UltraGear is VESA DisplayHDR 400 certified to display HDR content. It also supports Nvidia G-Sync and AMD FreeSync (Premium) technologies, allowing users to enjoy their gaming sessions without stuttering or tearing.

Other game-focused features include Dynamic Action Sync to reduce input lag and Black Stabilizer to improve clarity in dark areas. There is also a reading mode and anti-flicker technology to reduce eye strain.

Connectivity options include 2 HDMI ports, DisplayPort, 3.5mm audio out jack, and three USB ports. The monitor stand allows 110mm height adjustment and tilt.

The LG 34PG83-A UltraGear monitor is currently available for pre-order from the LG website. Its price is $ 999.99.
