Ross Young, founder of research firms Display Supply Chain Consultants and DisplaySearch, who regularly publishes accurate information about mobile device displays, said Samsung Display, BOE and LG Display supply iPhone 14 screens.

South Korean Samsung Display supplies 82% of the panels, LG Display accounts for 12%, and China’s BOE supplies the remaining 6%. As LG Display is facing some technical issues, it has yet to provide panels for the iPhone 14 Pro Max, which are expected as early as September.

Chinese supplier BOE has received more orders for the iPhone 14 series panels because the supplier’s price is more attractive than LG Display and Samsung. It is expected that sales of iPhone 14 with screens from BOE will exceed expectations twice, and the share of the supplier will gradually increase.

Apple is expected to introduce a new line of smartphones on September 7th. It will include iPhone 14, iPhone 14 Pro, iPhone 14 Max and iPhone 14 Pro Max. Apple has successfully tested the satellite connection of the iPhone 14, hardware support is ready. Now it all depends on the partners.

It also became known that the iPhone 14 Pro will improve not only the main 48-megapixel camera, but also the ultra-wide-angle one.

The smartphone was dismantled on the PBKreviews channel, while it received very good reviews for maintainability. After all, battery replacement is one of the most popular types of repair.

Samsung used standard Phillips screws. In addition, the 3.5mm headphone jack is on a separate module that is held in place by a screw. It takes some disassembly to get to it, but it’s not soldered to the board. The USB-C charging port is on a separate circuit board, and there are spring contacts underneath it and below the speaker assembly.

At 9.9mm thin and 235g, the Samsung Galaxy Xcover6 Pro is thicker and heavier than most phones with 6.6-inch displays and 4050 mAh batteries for the sake of security and repair-friendly design.
