Lexar Unveils Updated 2.5-inch SATA III NQ100 SSD

Lexar has announced a new solid-state drive called the NQ100 2.5 ”SATA III with a transfer rate of 6 Gbps. The novelty is an updated version of the NQ100.
The device read speed is 550 MB / s. Also, the novelty is resistant to shock and vibration, thanks to which the drive has added durability in comparison with conventional hard drives. Also, the manufacturer has improved energy efficiency.
In total, the Lexar NQ100 lineup includes several variations of devices, with a capacity from 240 to 960 GB.
The new NQ100s are available starting this month for retail prices ranging from $ 36.99 (for the 240GB version) to $ 65.99 (for the 480GB version). Unfortunately, the cost of the largest model was not disclosed.
