Lenovo showed a prototype of the ThinPad X1 foldable laptop last year. And now, finally, the device is ready for mass production, moreover, it can already be pre-ordered at a price of $ 2499.
The ThinkPad X1 Fold features a 13.3-inch OLED display that can be folded in half. Thus, you can use it as a large tablet or as a compact laptop with a virtual keyboard. An optional external keyboard and stand are also available for the device.
11th Gen Intel processors are responsible for laptop performance. Installed 8 GB of RAM, up to 1 TB of internal memory, a 50 W * h battery. There are also two USB-C ports and a SIM card slot (5G support is possible).
Lenovo also announced the ThinkPad X1 Nano, the lightest ThinkPad laptop ever. It weighs only 902 grams. The device has received Intel Evo certification. The laptop comes with 11th Gen Intel processors with Intel Xe graphics, up to 16GB of RAM, up to 1TB SSD, 48Wh battery, Wi-Fi 6, Thunderbolt 4.1 port. The 13-inch display has 2K resolution and sides 16:10.
The ThinkPad X1 Nano can optionally have 5G support and come with Linux pre-installed along with Windows 10 Pro. The cost of the new item starts at $ 1399 and will go on sale in the fourth quarter of 2020.
