He, as the name implies, will replace the CX-8. The CX-80 will be 4950mm long and the new model will be 25mm longer, 45mm wider and 10mm taller than the CX-8. The base for the CX-80 will be a 2.5-liter gasoline four-cylinder engine. There will also be a 3.3L inline-six diesel engine, a “mild” diesel hybrid and a plug-in hybrid powertrain borrowed from the CX-4.

The Chinese resource Autohome has published high-quality images of the Zeekr X compact electric crossover (Zeekr brand is owned by Geeky). It will be the brand’s third model after the Zeekr 001 premium hatchback and the Zeekr 009 minivan.

The Zeekr X has some things in common with the Zeekr 001, but in general the crossover has received an individual look. Of the features – the absence of door handles, frameless windows, “muscular” sidewalls and a straightened roofline for more headroom for rear passengers.

The Zeekr X will be based on the Geely SEA (Sustainable Experience Architecture) platform, which is also used by Volvo. Despite its compactness (dimensions – 4450 x 1836 x 1572 mm), the car will be quite spacious inside, as the wheelbase is 2750 mm long. For comparison, the current Hyundai Santa Fe with a length of 4785 mm has a wheelbase of 2765 mm.
