Large iPhones are better than small ones: proven by robotics. Tests of all iPhone 15 showed how things are with autonomy

The authors of the PhoneBuff channel conducted a comparative test of the autonomy of the entire iPhone 15 line. As always, using a robotic manipulator, which reduces the human factor to zero.

From the very beginning, it is clear that large iPhones are better than small iPhones, despite the fact that large screens consume more power and even support 120 Hz.

At the same time, large iPhones and small iPhones literally go hand in hand in their groups, again, despite the screens being different in resolution and frame rate.

However, in the end, the iPhone 15 Pro still begins to lose to the regular iPhone 15, and this happens in games.

As a result, the iPhone 15 Pro is the first to give in, showing a result of 9 hours and 7 minutes of screen operation. Next with a result of 9 hours 42 minutes is the iPhone 15.

But between the iPhone 15 Plus and 15 Pro Max the difference is much smaller: 11 hours 35 minutes and 11 hours 44 minutes. That is, the results are almost identical, but in other scenarios they may be slightly different.

In any case, it turns out that small iPhones are noticeably inferior to large ones, small and large ones differ little in their groups, and in general, even the iPhone 15 Pro shows good battery life when compared with other smartphones.

Nubia Z60 Ultra will refute the thesis about the uselessness

The Nubia brand today published details about the camera of the future flagship Nubia Z60 Ultra. In particular, we are talking about its module with an ultra-wide-angle lens.

Nubia Z60 Ultra will refute the thesis about the uselessness of ultra-wide-angle cameras in smartphones

With its new flagship, Nubia will try to “refute the theory that wide-angle cameras are useless.” This refers to photo quality: modules with ultra-wide-angle lenses are equipped with low-quality optics, low-resolution sensors and small optical formats, and all this naturally leads to the fact that the photo quality of the ultra-wide-angle camera is much inferior to the photo quality of the main camera.

But this will not happen in the Nubia Z60 Ultra: the corresponding module will have a fast (F/1.8) 50-megapixel 1/1.56-inch optical format sensor, complemented by an eight-element lens and an optical stabilization system. In general, this model will have triple OIS – in each of the three modules.

The official premiere of Nubia Z60 Ultra will take place on December 19. The smartphone will receive Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, a 6000 mAh battery and IP68 protection.

A truly unique smartphone design Nubia Z60 Ultra turned out

The Nubia brand cannot boast of a large assortment of smartphones or good sales, but what cannot be taken away from Nubia devices is the design. Recently, everyone was surprised by the gaming Red Magic 9 Pro with cameras without any protrusion and a flat, minimalistic design, but now images of the flagship Z60 Ultra have appeared on the Internet, which does not look like Red Magic, but at the same time looks no less unusual, if not more.

As you can see, the device does not have any separate block of cameras, while three cameras are placed in an unusual way and each is designed in its own way.

Thanks to this design, the Z60 Ultra does not look like any other smartphone at all, and not even close. Plus, it has the most angular shapes and a screen without any cutouts, since the front camera is sub-screen.

The new Nubia should receive SoC Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, a battery with a capacity of 6000 mAh and cameras with a resolution of 50, 50 and 64 megapixels, including a periscope module.
