Laptop space, Bose speakers, outstanding speakers, charging and energy efficiency This is Hyundai’s flagship electric car Ioniq 6
Hyundai has revealed some details about the Ioniq 6 electric sedan, which is built on a proprietary E-GMP modular platform. The basic version will be equipped with a 53 kWh battery and an electric motor of unknown power mounted on the rear axle.
The older version will receive a battery with a capacity of 77.4 kWh with a range of up to 610 km, which is about 100 km more than the Ioniq 5. The older version will be available in rear and all-wheel drive with two engines with a total capacity of 320 hp. with., which will produce 605 Nm of torque. Acceleration from 0 to 100 km / h will take 5.1 seconds.
Hyundai Ioniq 6 will be one of the most energy efficient vehicles on the market. The base version of the sedan with a 53 kWh battery, rear-wheel drive, one engine and 18-inch wheels will consume less than 14 kWh per 100 kilometers.
With a 350 kW charger, it takes just 18 minutes to charge an electric car from 10 to 80%. Ioniq 6, like Ioniq 5, allows you to power any electrical devices from it.
The automaker is focusing on remote work features, including a special type of center console that can comfortably accommodate a laptop. There are also four USB-C ports and one USB-A port for powering various devices, as well as slim car seats to maximize interior space. Hyundai claims they are still very comfortable and even designed to be laid back and slept on.
This is the first Hyundai model to support over-the-air software updates for various vehicle systems. Inside, there is a 12-inch digital instrument cluster, a 12-inch infotainment screen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto support, and eight-speaker premium Bose acoustics.
The car will receive adaptive cruise control with a smart speed limiting system, a collision avoidance system with emergency automatic braking, a high beam assistant and blind spot monitoring.
Production of the Ioniq 6 should begin in the third quarter of 2022. The start date for sales will be announced later.

Geely electric cars are becoming like Tesla. Geely Geometry M6 and Geometry G6 interior images published

A few days ago, Geely declassified the new models of the proprietary electric car brand – Geometry G6 and Geometry M6, which should replace the current Geometry A and Geometry C. In terms of appearance, the new items, although they differ from the current models, the design continuity is still traceable. Now Geely has presented images of the Geometry G6 and Geometry M6 interiors, and here everything is done completely differently: the minimalism of the interior space makes the interior similar to Tesla electric cars.
The salons of the G6 and M6 are completely identical. The two-spoke steering wheel was replaced with a three-spoke one. The digital instrument cluster has grown in size: instead of a 5-inch screen in the A and C models, it is 10.2 inches. The center console screen has grown from 12.3 inches to 14.6 inches. The climate control unit, central tunnel and door cards have also changed. The selector for switching driving modes is located on the steering column lever. In general, most of the keys have been removed from the front panel. The stretched air ducts and the “emptiness” on the central panel make the interior of the Geely G6 and M6 similar to the interior of a Tesla car.
Alas, there are no new details about the technical part. It is assumed that both models will be equipped with traction batteries with a capacity of 54 kWh (430 km range) and 70 kWh (600 km range). The car will be driven by an electric motor with a capacity of 204 hp.

The Americans installed the most powerful launch vehicle in the world at the moment on the launch pad. SLS is due to make its first flight on August 29

NASA has placed SLS rockets on the launch pad for launch as part of the Artemis 1 mission.
The launch is scheduled for August 29th. The Artemis 1 mission involves testing the Orion spacecraft and launching it to the moon. The mission will last from 39 to 42 days. Among other things, one of the most important moments of the mission will be the return of the ship to Earth. Orion will not just return, but will enter the upper atmosphere twice. The first entry will be partial with a further return to a higher orbit, after which a full re-entry and landing will follow. Thus, NASA will test the ship for strength.
As for the rocket, once launched, the SLS will be the most powerful rocket currently in use. It is capable of launching up to 95 tons of cargo into the reference orbit, and in the future, after modifications, the figure can be increased to 130 tons. It is capable of delivering 27 tons to the moon.
NASA expects that the upcoming launch will attract a huge number of people to the beach near the spaceport. Cocoa Beach city officials estimate that between 100,000 and 200,000 people will come to watch the launch.

Even before the launch of Dojo, the Tesla supercomputer has 7360 Nvidia A-100 graphics accelerators and is ranked seventh in the world

Tesla AI Infra & AI Platform manager Tim Zaman said the electric vehicle maker now has the world’s seventh largest supercomputer by number of GPUs. And this is before the launch of the Dojo supercomputer.
Tim Zaman confirmed that Tesla has upgraded its supercomputer to 7360 A100 (80 GB) GPUs. This makes the Tesla supercomputer one of the largest in the world in terms of the number of GPUs.
The A100 GPUs are made by Nvidia, where Zaman worked before joining Tesla. Each processor has 80 GB of graphics memory and has a bandwidth of 2 TB per second.
Tesla’s current supercomputer is the forerunner of the Dojo. Interestingly, Tesla noted last year that the company’s supercomputer, even before Dojo, was already the fifth most powerful in the world with the 5760 Nvidia A100. The company has since added about 1,600 GPUs to the system.
The Tesla Dojo supercomputer is developed in-house, so instead of the Nvidia A100, it will use a custom Tesla D1 chip that will be supported by FP32, BFP16, and CFP8. Dojo will be optimized for machine learning workloads, specifically Tesla Autopilot and Full Self Driving.
