As expected, Venus Optics has unveiled the 85mm F5.6 2x Ultra Macro APO lens, the first image of which appeared the day before. According to the manufacturer, it is the world’s smallest double macro lens for full-frame mirrorless cameras. Its diameter is 53 mm, and its length is 81 mm. An important feature of the lens can be considered internal focusing, due to which the length of the lens does not change when focusing. Another advantage is the apochromatic optical design, which minimizes chromatic distortion.

Corsair’s new Xeneon Flex gaming monitor has been launched in the US. There are many features here, but the main one is the ability to bend the panel to a radius of 0.8 m. Thus, the user can work on a completely flat monitor, and during the game the panel can be curved for more complete immersion.

The specifications say that Xeneon Flex is more than suitable for games: Nvidia G-Sync and AMD FreeSync Premium technologies are supported, the frame rate is 240 Hz, the pixel response time in Grey-to-Grey mode is only 0.03 s. It uses an LG OLED panel with a peak brightness of 1000 cd/m2. and a contrast ratio of 1,350,000 : 1, so for multimedia purposes (watching movies, for example), Xeneon Flex is also suitable. The resolution of the 45-inch panel is 3440 x 1440 pixels.

Of course, the monitor is not cheap: the cost is $ 2,000. But the main thing is that this is not a concept, but a serial and mass model.
