Italian automaker Lamborghini has sold a record number of cars. It broke its sales record last year and sold 13% more vehicles than it did in 2020. 8,405 cars sold worldwide is the most in Lamborghini’s 58-year history. Now the company is targeting future growth in the electrified segment.

“We are stronger than ever as we prepare to enter a period of profound transformation and move towards an even more sustainable future,” said Stefan Winkelmann, Chairman and CEO of Automobili Lamborghini.

In the United States, the company sold 2,472 vehicles, an increase of 11% over the previous fiscal year, while 706 units were sold in Germany, representing a 16% increase in sales. But the big difference is in China, where Lamborghini sold 935 vehicles, or 55% more than in 2020. Other top selling markets include the UK (564 units), Italy (359 units) and the EMEA region (Europe, Middle East and Africa).

The Urus crossover has become Lamborghini’s best-selling crossover with 5,021 units delivered to customers in 2021. In addition, last July Lamborghini unveiled the final version of its Aventador V12 supercar called the LP 780-4 Ultimae.

Lamborghini expects sales momentum to continue into 2022 as existing orders are sufficient to cover the company’s entire production run this year. The company plans to introduce four new vehicles over the next 12 months: “In 2022, we will do our best to build on current performance and prepare for our future hybrid lineup from 2023.”

Honda showed its first electric crossover Prologue But it will

Honda, like many other Japanese brands, is far behind its European competitors when it comes to electrifying their cars. The company already has a Honda e, and now the manufacturer has unveiled its first electric crossover, the Prologue. True, the car will enter the market only in 2024.

Honda showed its first electric crossover Prologue. But it will only be released in 2024.

Whatever it was, so far we have only one official image. The crossover on it is not very similar to the current Honda models. The source says that Prologue is a joint development of the Japanese giant and GM, but no details yet. It is likely that the Prologue and some General Motors electric cars will have a common platform.

Honda plans to introduce 30 new electric vehicle models by 2030 and expects sales of 2 million units. After launching the Prologue in 2024, Honda plans to begin production of new electric vehicles based on its e:Architecture architecture in 2026, and in 2027 it will have affordable electric vehicles also co-developed with GM.

I will vote Republican Musk lashes out at Democrats over

Tesla was excluded from the S&P 500 ESG at the beginning of the month, but most people only knew about it now that Elon Musk decided to speak out about it.

ExxonMobil ranks in the top 10 in the world in the S&P 500 ESG Index, while Tesla didn’t make it! ESG is a scam. It was used as a weapon by fake social justice fighters.

I will vote Republican Musk lashes out at Democrats over

The fact is that the S&P 500 ESG is an index that takes into account the environmental and social performance of companies. And Musk was obviously hurt that the huge oil company ExxonMobil was on the list, and Tesla was decided to be excluded. And there are even official reasons for the exclusion: Tesla has no strategy to reduce carbon emissions, no code of business conduct, and the company has also been accused of racism and poor working conditions.

But Musk did not stop at one statement.

I’ve voted Democrats in the past because they were (mostly) the goodness party. But they have become a party of division and hatred, so I can no longer support them and will vote Republican. Now watch their dirty campaign against me unfold

This is a much more serious statement, since many of Musk’s supporters are his supporters precisely because of his political views. Immediately, Musk made it clear that he changed them. This has already cost Tesla about $40 billion in capitalization, as the company’s shares fell immediately after the publication of its head.
