Kensington NanoSaver locks are designed for laptops
Kensington, known for its anti-theft solutions for computers and mobile devices, has introduced a new new family of NanoSaver locks. They are designed for laptops. These keyless and combination locks are suitable for computers equipped with a Nano security slot, including the latest HP, Lenovo and Asus laptops.
The Nano slot is 70% smaller than a traditional slot, making it suitable for the next generation of ultra-thin and light devices. Kensington NanoSaver locks are made from heavy-duty carbon steel cables to provide the highest level of cut protection. Slim heads with nano-locks allow the device to lie flat and stable on the desktop. They are resistant to corrosion. Key locks support Kensington Hidden Pin anti-burglary technology.
The family includes the NanoSaver Keyed universal lock (K64444), the NanoSaver dual-head lock (K64448) to protect your laptop and other devices such as a monitor, NanoSaver portable lock (K66640) with coiled cable, Slim NanoSaver Combination Lock (K60603) with 4 digits (10,000 combinations). The family also includes the Slim NanoSaver Portable Combination Lock (K60627) and the Slim NanoSaver Combination Ultra Cable Lock (K60629).
Sales have already started. Kensington NanoSaver locks are backed by a limited lifetime warranty.

In China, the Lenovo Yoga Pro Extreme Edition laptop lit up live – it will be one of the most powerful models in the Yoga line. The device will receive an Intel Core i9-13905H processor, an Nvidia GeForce RTX 4070 Laptop 3D accelerator and 64 GB of RAM. But the most interesting thing is that instead of the usual CPU, the Supernova SoM processor module will probably be installed here.
In January of this year, Asus and Intel introduced the Supernova SoM processor module, which integrates the latest generation CPU and LPDDR5X RAM. The joint “packaging” of these components has a number of advantages: firstly, the physical distance between the RAM and the CPU is reduced to almost a minimum, secondly, the memory operates at a higher frequency, and thirdly, the motherboard can be made more compact.
It is known that the Supernova SoM module will be used in one of the Asus laptops, but it has not yet been released. However, Lenovo also seems to be taking the technology into its arsenal: it is expected to be used in the Yoga Pro Extreme Edition.
Apparently, Lenovo Yoga Pro Extreme Edition will be a 16-inch laptop. The official premiere of new items is expected at a large Lenovo event in China on March 21. Then it will become clear whether Supernova SoM is really used in this model.

On March 12, AMD announced the availability of laptops based on the latest Ryzen 7040HS processors, and now, in fact, they took their words back. The company needs time to finalize the Phoenixes (Phoenix is the code name for the line), so laptops based on the latest Ryzen mobile CPUs will not go on sale until April.
“We expect our OEM partners to release the first laptops based on Ryzen 7040HS series processors in April” AMD said in a statement.
There are only three models in the series: the 6-core Ryzen 5 7640HS and the 8-core Ryzen 7 7840HS and Ryzen 9 7940HS. In a series of tests, top models showed their superiority over top-end Intel Core 13 CPUs with a large number of cores.
The Asus ROG Bingren 7 flagship dual-screen gaming laptop has gone on sale in China. In other regions, it is known as the Asus ROG Zephyrus Duo 16 (2023) GX650. The laptop is equipped with an AMD R9 7945HX processor, as well as GeForce RTX 4080 Mobile or 4090 Mobile graphics cards.
The ROG Bingren 7-screen gaming laptop features a BOE-made 16-inch main screen that supports a resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixels, as well as a refresh rate of 60 to 240 Hz and a response time of 3 ms. The screen can cover 100% of the DCI-P3 color gamut and achieve peak brightness up to 1100 cd/m2.
The secondary screen is also made by BLOE and measures 14.1 inches diagonally at 4K resolution (3840 x 1100 pixels). It is touch sensitive and supports stylus input. The laptop received six speakers with support for Dolby Atmos and three microphones with a noise reduction system.
The laptop is equipped with a 16-core (32 threads) AMD R9 7945HX processor, up to 64 GB of fast DDR5-4800 RAM, PCIe 4.0 NVMe interface with support for SSDs up to 4 TB.
