James Webb Space Telescope Captures Galaxies That ‘Shouldn’t Exist’

The James Webb Space Telescope continues to make interesting discoveries. This time, in the images taken by the telescope, scientists were able to detect six new galaxies, the mass of which exceeds the solar mass by 100 billion times – they are as large as our galaxy (the Milky Way) or, for example, the Andromeda galaxy.

The paradox is that these galaxies are among the early ones that arose only 500-700 million years after the Big Bang. It is believed that the first galaxies began to appear in the Universe 300-400 million years after the Big Bang, they were small and grew slowly. Accordingly, the six discovered galaxies should not have become so large in such a short period of time. A new discovery calls into question 99% of existing models of the universe.

Galaxies are so far from Earth that they appear as small red dots in telescope photos.

These objects have an impossibly large mass. We expected that in this era of the existence of the Universe we would see only small and young galaxies. We managed to discover six objects at once, which are not inferior in mass to the Milky Way and other modern galaxies, whose analogues should not have existed in this era,” said Pennsylvania State University associate professor Joel Leha, who participated in the study of images from the space telescope.

Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 will get brand new and fully

According to recent data, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 single-chip system can receive a 1 + 2 + 3 + 2 format configuration.

Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 will get brand new and fully 64-bit cores

According to insider Kuba Wojciechowski, we are waiting for one Hunter ELP super-core, which Qualcomm itself will call Kryo Gold Plus, two Hunter cores (Titanium), three Hunter cores (Gold) and two Hayes (Silver). The platform itself is codenamed Lanai or Pineapple.

If we compare this with early information, then we are probably talking about Cortex-X4, Cortex-A715, Cortex-A710 and Cortex-A510 / 515. However, the insider says that the Hunter and Hayes cores, that is, all cores, will be completely new solutions, that is, apparently, not Cortex-A715 and the others listed above. The new cores will not support 32-bit computing, which means that all 2024 flagships that will receive Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 will be fully 64-bit following the Pixel 7 and 7 Pro.

In addition, the new platform will receive an Adreno 750 GPU with a frequency of 770 MHz, although this is not the final value.

Wojciechowski was previously the first to point out that Xiaomi will switch to using JLQ platforms. In addition, he was the first to discover information about the modified configuration of Snapdragon 8 Gen 2

Radeon RX 7900 XTX overclocked to 34 GHz on the

As you know, the Radeon RX 7900 XTX overclocks well if you can supply enough power to the card. The well-known overclocker Der8auer managed to raise the GPU frequency of such an adapter to 3.4 GHz.

Radeon RX 7900 XTX overclocked to 3.4 GHz on the core with a native cooling system. Consumption increased to 650 W

The important thing is that the native liquid cooling system was enough to achieve such a result. The PowerColor Liquid Devil model was taken as the basis, which is one of the best overclocking options for the RX 7900 XTX, and at the same time it is equipped with liquid CO.

In 3DMark Time Spy Extreme, the adapter could operate at 3244 MHz, which earned it a score of 17,700 and took 13th place in the overall rating. In games, the frequency increased to 3.4 GHz. At the same time, the adapter consumed an impressive 650 watts.
