Elon Musk confirmed the beginning of beta testing among users

The head of Tesla, Elon Musk, confirmed on his official Twitter page the beginning of beta testing of the full-fledged autopilot function among select owners of electric vehicles.

Musk announced last week that the feature will soon begin rolling out to users who are “expert and cautious drivers.”

Today, a top executive noted that the rollout of this update to Tesla’s electric vehicles will be “extremely slow and cautious,” as it “should be.”

Tesla has significantly revamped its Full Self-Driving (FSD) software. Musk said in August that improvements to FSD will be like a “quantum leap” as developers have completely rewritten PCs from the ground up.
