Is the Exynos 2100 really a success? The first reviews of autonomy inspire hope
It looks like at least one new SoC Exynos 2100 really succeeded. There are no full-fledged tests of smartphones on the Web yet, but the SamMobile website reports that their Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra demonstrates excellent autonomy. Recall that autonomy was one of the problems of the Exynos 990 against the background of the Snapdragon 865.
So, the author of the note reports that he removed the device from charging at 8 am and after about 12 hours of charge, another 24% remained. The screen time was 4 hours 27 minutes. It is worth clarifying that this is when the active mode is 120 Hz and the maximum screen resolution. The author notes that the Galaxy S20 Ultra did not show such indicators.
Of course, we do not yet know the results of Samsung’s new products on the Snapdragon 888, and we still need to evaluate several different tests, but for now there are hopes that the Korean giant has really managed to make a decent flagship single-chip system.

Google launches YouTube co-streaming for everyone

The Google team announced the large-scale launch of the YouTube Go Live Together service for users of mobile devices based on iOS and Android.
YouTube Go Live Together allows users to share live streams. When you start broadcasting from a smartphone, the video of the two co-authors appears in one window.
Google explains:
You can schedule a co-broadcast on your computer (in the broadcast control panel) and then start streaming from your mobile phone. In addition, you can immediately start broadcasting from your mobile phone.
In November 2022, Google launched YouTube Go Live Together testing among a small group of creators. Now authors with 50 subscribers or more will be able to invite guests to a joint broadcast. The invitees can alternate during the broadcast.

Enthusiasts have released Android 13 for the almost five-year-old Samsung Galaxy S9 and Galaxy Note9

Users of Samsung’s flagship smartphones almost five years ago learned the opportunity to install the One UI 5.0 shell and the Android 13 operating system. And although Samsung has already stopped supporting the Galaxy S9 and Note9 (review), enthusiasts have not yet abandoned them.
The One UI 5.0 skin based on Android 13 is supported by many Samsung smartphones, but the Galaxy S9 and Note9 are not on this list.
The mobile developer community XDA Developers reported that Android 13 and One UI 5.0 are now available thanks to the unofficial Noble ROM 3.0 ported to the Galaxy S9, S9+ and Note9. Developer AlexisXDA used the Android 13 firmware for the Galaxy S20 and Galaxy Note10 Lite to create a version suitable for 2018 flagships.
Noble ROM 3.0 is currently only available for Galaxy S9, S9+ and Note9 versions based on Exynos 9810.
Of course, you can use such firmware only at your own peril and risk, being well aware of what you are doing and what to do if something goes wrong.

128-core AMD Bergamo processors will be released this half of the year, and the monstrous Instinct MI300 will appear in the second half of the year

AMD’s 96-core Epyc Genoa processors have already been released, and now the company is going to release 128-core Bergamo CPUs. Previously, AMD itself talked about them, and now the company has told when to expect them.
Bergamo will be released in the current half of the year, that is, in the next few months. AMD does not yet provide more accurate data. Recall that these CPUs will have the same SP5 performance as Genoa, but the configuration will include only Zen 4C cores instead of full-fledged Zen 4. AMD has not previously said much about Zen 4C, but it is known for sure that these are not small cores, like in Intel, and the core of the same architecture, but with a number of changes.
AMD is also going to release Siena Epyc processors, which will be optimized for use in telecommunications equipment. But there are no details about them yet, except that it is known that they will be released later than Bergamo. Monstrous hybrid specialized processors Instinct MI300 will be released in the second half of the year.
Recall that AMD admitted that it had limited the supply of its products to the market over the past six months, due to which the prices for a number of products were inflated.
