If you want a “periscope”, you will have to buy the most expensive iPhone 16. Such a camera will be exclusive to the older version in 2024

Contrary to some recent rumors, only the most expensive iPhone in the line is likely to get a periscope camera next year as well.
Tianfeng International analyst Ming-Chi Kuo claims that only the iPhone 16 Pro Max or iPhone 16 Ultra will get such a camera in 2024 if Apple changes its name. Recall that such a camera is already expected in the iPhone 15 Pro Max, which Kuo also confirms.
Thus, the periscope camera will be one of the factors in favor of the most expensive iPhone for at least two years, which, according to the latest leaks and rumors, is exactly what Apple needs, which wants to shift the focus in favor of more expensive smartphones in order to increase the average price of the device sold.
What will be the periscope module of the iPhone 15 Pro Max is not yet clear, but there is evidence that this will be a new LG development with a variable zoom value.

Disassembly showed how the unique Tecno Phantom X2 Pro smartphone works

A video with a disassembly of the unique Tecno Phantom X2 Pro smartphone with a retractable camera module has appeared on the Web.
After removing the back cover and the inner protective casing, it becomes clearly visible how huge the module of that very camera is. And, remember, this is not the main camera, but a TV camera. Interestingly, on the back of the PCB you can see that each chamber has its own cooling in the form of copper foil.
There are no other interesting features in the design. Unfortunately, the authors of the PBKreviews channel did not disassemble the camera module directly to show the dimensions of the sensors.
For maintainability, the device received only 4.5 points out of 10 possible.
