IPhone replacement will appear later this year. Apple headset stocks will be limited

Renowned analyst Ming-Chi Kuo claims that Apple’s mixed reality headset will launch in late 2022, but starting stock will be limited.

In a note sent to investors, Kuo states that the release of the Apple AR / VR headset will be “delayed until the end of 2022.” According to the analyst, full-scale deliveries of the product will not begin until the first quarter of 2023. It can be assumed that this year it will be very difficult to find it in stores.

Apple initially anticipates delays in the production of its mixed reality headset, as the device will feature much better hardware and design than its competitors. Presumably, orders will start taking in November or even December this year. This has become the norm for Apple lately. For example, AirPods Max was introduced in December 2020, and delivery times were shifted to March 2021 after the start of accepting pre-orders.

It was previously reported that the Apple AR / VR headset will feature an “innovative triple display configuration” combining two Micro OLED displays and one AMOLED panel. Other rumors suggest that the device will be equipped with state-of-the-art environmental sensors and gesture recognition, as well as a powerful single-chip system.

Ming-Chi Kuo previously stated that Apple’s ultimate goal is to replace the iPhone with augmented reality headsets in the next 10 years. Apple is forecast to sell at least 1 billion AR devices over 10 years.

The price of new items can be up to $ 3,000.

The temperature of the components is monitored by 9 sensors, and they are located not only in the area of the SoC and battery, but also in the main camera modules. Data from these sensors is analyzed by AI. In general, AI is used almost everywhere in the Redmi K70 Pro (this also applies to scenarios for using the smartphone by the user, and analysis of shooting conditions, and optimization of performance in games), so it can well be called an AI smartphone. Sorry, Samsung.

The carrier of such a camera will be Magic6 Pro. It will have a 160-megapixel sensor, but there are no details here. Perhaps physically it will still be a sensor with a resolution of 200 megapixels, but Honor will limit its working area in such a way that only 160 megapixels will be active.

The main camera of the new product will be based on the Omnivision OV50K sensor. This is not an inch sensor, but quite large – 1/1.3-inch optical format. Interestingly, the Honor Magic5 Pro has a larger main camera sensor – 1/1.12 inches.

Insider Digital Chat Station, who shared the information, was previously the first to accurately report the characteristics and release dates of Redmi K30, K40, Xiaomi Mi 10 and Mi 11.
