IPhone Patent Revealed With In-Display Fingerprint Scanner

A new patent registered for the Apple trademark appeared on the network, in which they found a mention of a fingerprint scanner. Insiders admit that Apple may add the sensor not as a separate element on the device case, but under the display.

It turns out that the other day Apple employees polled iPhone users about which they prefer more: Touch ID or Face ID. Whether this suggests that the company is considering returning this feature to new iPhones is hard to say.

But given the not very simple epidemiological situation due to the pandemic, a return to the fingerprint scanner would be appropriate. There is also a possibility that Apple could build Touch ID into a lock button iPhoneas it was with iPad Air this year.

Don’t be sure, as this is a patent and sometimes they seem very innovative. A huge number of such developments simply do not live up to release, and developers can abandon such an idea at any time.
